Tonghua is involved in the production of the drama so i highly doubt she would make any changes to her novel. But we can just hope she sympathises with the fans. I hate it when characters die i always skip them.

If he survives there is no way that i'd be okay with him being alone, if it happens i'm gonna full on go enter their film group to change the script. I'd rather he did die than end up being alone.
