Her kiss scenes were not that bad in born to be the one. we also got a BTS clip of their kiss in this drama aswell it seemed okay.

Not sure where people are getting their info from but there is no love triangle. Everything you see is just jealousy from Sang Yan.

Yeah unfortunately this drama is not lighthearted. It's pretty dark but the leads have a wonderful romance and the ML is very protective of her.

In the novel its not one sided nor is there any love triangles. There is a coworker who ends up being interested in her but she doesn't pay him any mind in the novel cause she loves Sang Yan.

No triangles, no break ups besides the one in HS. They have a brief argument due to lack of communication but they fix that pretty quickly and the lack of communication is just Yifan not telling him about being harassed at work.

Don't know the episode but they didn't become official until about chapter 49 but in that time they grow closer and theres a lot of sexual tension. I imagine here depending on how much of the chapters they get through per episode they might get together in episode 17/18? maybe a little sooner idk just a guess lol

No love triangles just some jealousy. Unless they've changed that part in the adaption (but I doubt they did that) but there was no love triangles in the book.

Yes he's following the novel version of Sang Yan. Sang Yan in the novel is very stoic and serious. Victor Ma's portrayal of Sang Yan was nothing like his novel version imo but i still loved his portrayal.

Cdramas typically air like this, for the premiere you get 2 episodes or more and episodes air everyday. VIP members get an extra episode depending on the service its airing on. If its anything like others and we get 1-2 episodes per day it will be over in about 2 weeks time.

I am loving this drama so far and this is coming from someone who adored Hidden Love and Victor Ma's portrayal of Sang Yan. I think BJT fits the role so much better in this drama and the acting is phenomenal cause not many actors can master subtle facial expressions both BJT and ZRN give. I can feel their pain, their anguish, their love and their yearning. I can't wait for more.

I know HL and TFF are sister stories but I wish more people would realize they are both completely different at the same time. This drama is not trying to be Hidden Love. I wish people would try to broaden their horizons and give it a good chance before judging it off HL's success.

You not liking a certain genre of dramas is not lazy writing.
