Oh no, I was only referring to season 1 right now. I don’t know about season 2. When I said second production I meant the one (this current season of KP) that Be On Cloud produced. The first production which got cancelled was under Filmania.

I just looked through Apo’s ig and roughly guessed that they started filming this current KP around November 20-ish, 2021.

Does anyone have any information on Be On Cloud? I’m trying to dig up some info about them but it seems they just suddenly appeared one day. Like who created it? Manage it? Are most (all?) KP cast in the company? Other than their social media accounts, they don’t even have a website. Idk I’m just curious.

lmao I love the audio drama wwx VA and donghua lwj VA, so to have them dub the wwx and lwj in live action was a blessing. I usually imagine the donghua version whenever I listen to the audio drama. But after watching the live action, whenever wwx speaks in the AD, instead of seeing the donghua wwx, i see Xiao Zhan's wwx instead lool.
But really, I'm not disappointed that it's dubbed because like you said, it fits and they did such a good job as well. And although XZ and WYB have good voices, they aren't what I imagined wwx and lwj to sound like, but that's just me :/

I recommend reading the other novels of this author: Heaven’s Official Blessing (tian guan ci fu) and Scum Villain. Tgcf’s manhua is scheduled to be released this October, the donghua is in production, and I’m pretty sure it’s also bought for a live action adaptation. Scum villain’s manhua is currently at war and donghua is microwaving itself I’m cry ;_;

Many of the antagonists in The Untamed (and MDSZ) have many similarities to wwx and they serve as foil to his character.

Before The Untamed was released, there was a leaked footage of wwx saving wen qing in the Xuanxu Cave (which never happened in the novel) and there were a bunch of rumors that talked about how they were changing it to boyxgirl type of drama. Let's just say many fans of the novel were very very angry (an understatement really) and they bombarded The Untamed weibo with lots of hate. Which is understandable since 99% of drama out there are all boyxgirl, and yet here they're not only trying to change the relationship of the canon couple (wwx & lwj) but also try to force a heteronormative relationship onto the main character.
After the backlash, I'm pretty sure the team had to re-edit a lot of scenes between wwx and wq. That's why some scenes that we see between wwx and wq in the live action were quite ... awkward.
Personally, I don't mind them changing it to bromance (because of censorship and all) but forcing a romantic relationship between wwx and wq is just a big no for me. I have no problem with boyxgirl pair but why ruin a perfect relationship (both wwx&lwj and wwx&wq) just to create some forced artificial chemistry.
I loved LOVED Wen Qing in the novel despite her lack of scenes because she was a force to be reckon with. She was like Madam Yu, but one that actually cares for wwx lol. I like to think that she's the sister that wwx gained after he defected from the Jiang Sect and thus "losing" his Shijie. Novel wwx would puke if he knew people shipped him with his sisters.

I think OP meant JC in the novel. But yes, live action JC did harbor feelings for WQ, tho it was a short lived one.

I don't know much about cultivations and the mechanisms that comes with it; but a Golden Core is where a cultivator store and control their spiritual energy -- it's the main source of their strength and their ability to "float" or "fly" through the air, which is why as you can see, when JC and wwx lost their GC they became very weak. GC is the base that makes them stronger and more "immortal" than the average human being. Even if a cultivator loses their GC, they'll still be able to use their sword -- they'll just be EXTREMELY weaker than their peers who have their GC tho, which is why wwx never carried his sword (because he knew he'll be at a disadvantage if anyone requested to dual with him).
I wouldn't say that a spiritual weapon recognizes their master based on the golden core that they have, but in JC's case, because he has wwx's GC, Suibian (Whatever) recognize him as wwx. So it's not that JC is now the master of Suibian, but that Suibian thinks he is wwx -- which is why JC could unseal Suibian when everyone else couldn't.
I believe anybody could wield another person's sword, For example, Xue Yang used Xiao XingChen sword despite not having XXC's golden core in him (and I'm pretty sure xxc's sword wouldn't ever recognize xy as his master). Jin Ling also wields his father's sword.
As it was stated, a sword sealing itself is a very rare thing that only happens every ten thousand years or so. So not every sword seal itself once their Master dies/disappear; Suibian is just a very special case.

We were never directly told who a-yuan's mother and father were, but we were told (from wen ning) that he is the son of a cousin of Wen Ning and Wen Qing.

I assume that you're talking about the white guqin that they found in the cave of the cold spring in cloud recesses. Lwj explained that the white guqin that they found was a heirloom of the Lan clan so it's not really his to use personally. Other times, the guqin that he magically summon is his own spiritual instrument (like how every character have their own spiritual weapon), the guqin is named Wangji lolol. The Lan clan also specializes in musical instruments which is where wwx got the idea to use a dizi as a tool to control the dead.

This drama (novel, manhua, comics, etc.) is all in wwx's pov so obviously we don't see a lot of the side characters except when wwx uses empathy or something. Also, after Jin Ling helped wwx escape, he spent a long time avoiding his uncle lol

None that this is 16 years later. What I understand in the live action is that when Mo XuanYu offered his body to WWX, he offered EVERYTHING, which means that he gave up his body and soul in place of WWX's. This means that when he resurrected, wwx has his own body and appearance before he died (whereas in the novel, mo xuanyu gave wwx his body to possess, which is why novel wwx didn't need a mask--because he has mxy face-- while LA wwx needed to wear the mask because he has his own body from before.
Fast forward 16 years later, the only people that wwx really interacted with after his resurrection were the juniors (and lwj but he already knew it was him) who grew up with the stories of the Yiling Patriarch but not shown what he really looked like. But idk what you mean by for example Jiang Cheng because when wwx took off his mask, JC obviously knew it was him.
