No need to read the book, the book doesn't even explain any parallel world until the special chapters cos that's when it's explained that he actually exchanged places with his parallel Cir (Phayu). The series mixed the parallel worlds a lot with their love story but the book is just a love story of Cir and Phu, with Cir being pushed to approaching Phu because of a parallel relationship of theirs and Phu being manipulated because of Cir's confusion and stalking.

My gosh, I was saying the exact same thing. From DFF to 4mins, my stand in, 2 worlds, and other ones who branch out have the same reactions. They complain of tired colleges, but when it's an office theme, the don't like the strict boss and secretary or worker, when it's not office and it's fantasy or mystery, they complain about being all over the place. I mean, mystery is supposed to be all over the place for you to decipher and match right? I don't like how Mame sometimes writes her books but that's her trademark, mostly flawed mls just like Sammon has her own trademark being mostly mysterious and involving hospitals and detectives. I'm not particularly happy with this one's ending with the trade of brothers, and the stalker but it's Fiction, it's not supposed to be taken so seriously. people complain about her stories, then go ahead and watch it then can complain, AGAIN, as if they didn't know what they were going in for. Sorry for this, but I think it's just because of past thinking, and most dramas are being based on books, that being said, old books with old thoughts/ways will mostly have women as villains. Hopefully new stories don't have that but if past books are used and it's especially Mame's, we're not getting rid of the women😁At least Lita didn't have female villains 😅

The duration can't differentiate if it's cut or uncut, Gaga has breaks in between while IQiYi doesn't. For this, the breaks in Gaga, although it's a cut version makes the duration longer than the IQiYi version which isn't cut (uncut)

@ryanclovis If it was someone who looked liked Yu Xi Gu, that person wouldn't mention the things Yu wanted to do (the particular mountain to climb, he even said he couldn't study what he wanted anymore and it could be cos he's dead now).
