I guess you must be talking about each episode individual rating (Episode Guide tab), not about the overall Score of this Drama. The overall Score was 8.3 until episode 6, then it increased to 8.4 between episodes 7 and 9, after episode 10 it dropped to 8.3 again. It was never higher than 8.4.
But yeah, it seems that something happened in episodes 10 and 11 that was weaker than anticipated by most viewers.
I have watched till 9 episodes, and so far I was liking it so much. The average rating was almost more than 9. Imagine my surprise , when I came back on MYDRAMALIST after one week to check the rating and the average rating have been dropped to 8.3!! I had to double check then I realize that maybe the writers might have f***ed up in the last 3 episodes, but I guess Episode 12 is not out yet. So probably I will watch the remaining 3 episodes next week.
I am sensing that this drama might have gone the route of "When your Phone rings", which was the drama which had exceptional start but then the Writers have to F-up the last episode in that to.
I am sensing similar pattern in the dramas with 12 episodes. Maybe the K-drama writers are more accustomed with 16 episodes drama and that's why they falter when it comes to 12 episodes? There must be a case study about this.
Chae Jong Hyeop seems to have aged a little hereânot in a negative wayâbut I think itâs mainly due to weight…
I noticed that too,he looks slimmer compared to his other dramas. But it actually fits his charcter. When I started the drama i was wondering whether he had lost weight for this drama. He looks a bit tired and haggard which makes sense considering what the character went through. Hope to see him in more dramas but different roles. I'd love to see him in an action, thriller, mystery drama or movies. Less romance! I think he has alot of potential.
Chae Jong Hyeop seems to have aged a little hereânot in a negative wayâbut I think itâs mainly due to weight loss. His face isnât as full as before, and the makeup doesnât really help; sometimes it looks quite heavy, especially in close-up shots. I donât know, but throughout the drama, he looked really tired to me, despite his incredible smile that makes him so charming. It even made me feel like he might have gone through a phase of depression. Wishing him strengthâheâs an actor I truly love and find incredibly talented.
Edit: I just learned that Chae Jongâhyeop has been suffering from epilepsy since he was 20; he was diagnosed while living in South Africa. I didnât even know about thisâsending him huge support đ«¶đ»đ«¶đ»đ«¶đ»
This might just be me, but I feel like I wouldâve enjoyed it more if I binge-watched everything instead of waiting…
I started it last week and went into it knowing the lie gets dragged to the end. I definitely think knowing that going in was a lot better than wondering when that shoe was gonna drop.
I've never had any intention to watch this show, melodramas aren't my thing, but I've started checking in on the comment section of this page because each time the viewers seem angrier and angrier at how the show is going and it's really amusing to me as a bystander
So this dramas has a bare 8 rating and insipid Cdramas are getting 9.2 .Is this platform becoming the ultimate…
If one bases their opinion on MDL ratings... I strongly advise them NOT to do that. đŹ They are NEVER accurate nor reliable. (I know you weren't doing that, but I've seen it happen too often lol)
I'm not hating on PSH, loved him so much since Semantic Error, but his character is so unnecessary T^T like he's only there to be compare with ML since he's very opposite with ML. He's rich, good position on work, have a good relationship with his family, warm hearted, have a good relationship with FL first while ML is very the opposite of him yet still win the girl. its bad for him and ML
should have been a 10/10. such a pity they ruined it. while I love Roh Jeong Eui a lot, her smile/laughing in this drama looked so artificial for some reason (i didnt find it nice). but that black and white pic of her with woo joo in the last episode was so nice
