I've noticed increasingly that I need to stop trusting MDL ratings, they do not reveal the real state at all and…
Yeah, it's quite unfortunate that you can't fully trust these ratings. They can be very helpful & allow you to save a lot of time if a drama is not worth watching, but at the same time, these ratings can also mislead you into missing out a really enjoyable ones. So what I mostly do is watch the first few episodes to see the plot/characters & see how it resonates with me.
Is it just me, or is Coroner Feng starting to seem more and more suspicious?First, he “accidentally” gave…
He is indeed a bit suspicious. In the recent episode, he goes back to the Huo mansion late at night and gets framed for killing one of the disciples. It just seems suspicious that he was there late at night without his partners knowing his whereabouts. He was also keep protecting Huo DaiRong whenever she was mentioned, since she was the one pulling the strings.
So FL character gets mature or not??Nahh cuz i watched 2 episodes and she is all playful...And in episode 3 either…
I actually didn't see any childishness in them, especially the FL, she is a lot colder. They are all serious about the cases that they rarely have heart-to-heart moments. But after she learns the truth of her father's death, she starts to trust him, appears closer to him & feels guilty about poisoning him.
I am enjoying this so far. However, I wasn't a fan of them poisoning the ML, especially with the way it happened, so I only hope it doesn't drag on for too long.
I liked this one but I wish Mu Qing Ge regained her original strong personality or at least some of it instead…
I also liked the Master Mu Qingge version more, but I also noticed a difference in her personality after she got her memories back; she instantly turned into a leader, strategic, and calmer due to the wisdom of the previous lifetime. She still lacked a bit of Mu Qingge's strong/confident attitude, which is quite more realistic, because she is very young & lived over 2 decades as Xue Ranran, therefore recent experiences/memories are much more impactful, but the older personality is still there. Su Yishui was taken over by Mortal Demon right after she got her memories, so she was the leader with multiple ideas/plans, and ultimately she succeeded by defeating Mortal Demon. Without Mu Qingge's wisdom, young & naive Xue Ranran wouldn't have stood a chance.
Amazing drama!! The main leads are just incredible. The ML suffered the most. But for me, my heart always breaks for the FL's tragic backstory. Her sister & uncle, who is a father figure to her, turned against her and then the whole world.
Wow, what a show! The way the storytelling is handled was genius, showing the past, the present simultaneously & revealing the truth one after another until you go, "Aha, so that's how it happened." It makes you wanna keep watching!
This show is severely underrated!. I almost passed on this one due to the reviews, but then I accidentally watched a clip of it and gave it a chance. I'll tell you now, it did not disappoint. I was also surprised by how deep the plot is than what the synopsis says. With such an ending, I hope it gets 2nd season. Also... PHS carried this show, what a performance
I had a good time watching. And the main cast are incredible even tho it's my first time watching them. Though I liked the Main couple's story, I think for the first time, I liked 2nd lead couple more.
I watched the first part when it came out, so I kind of forgot the story. I'd like to refresh my memory before watching Part 2. Is there like a complete recap of the first part somewhere, or do I just rewatch the first part?
Solid 8.0 for me, although not as good as the first part. Also, seeing Su Ho at the end really put a smile on my face. I hope they keep him for part 3.
