Apart from the main character who speaks like a three year old, this is a great series. I hope her character will…
Yea it pisses me off too, Esther yu's voice isnt like this, she acted in a journey to you and it was fine, but the character specifically in this show is written like a 12 year old, not a grown woman, tbh even highschoolers dont talk like this, and def not a 19-20 yr old woman.
So before I start this I want to make this point clear ... They were raised as siblings (even though not blood…
basically the ml was taken in by her dad before she was born as a foster child but never legally adopted him and he's not blood related, he's her dad's friend's son, the ml knew he wasn't related to her, she found out when she was young as well. When she was in elementary school he left to thailand with her dad.
how is jin chao gonna survive being separated from her for 7 years 😞
What nonesense is this, first they get seperated young, and right when they fall in love they get seperated again? Nah... sis you should have used a spoiler tag not all of us read the novel.
Totally agree. This drama would be much better if the script & directing are better. 2 days ago I said to…
And lowkey the vibe is giving those villaness manhwas, like the villian (Wan Qing) is the main character and she loved the ml and this innocent cutesy fl comes and the ml falls in love with her.

EXACTLYYYYYYYYYYY Its making me so irritated, the drama would be so much better if they just knew how to balance the two accurately, but it's so off balance the cute side and the darker side do notttttttttt work well together. Such a waste of what we could've got with those two actors, but the directors are not doing this justice at all. The OST's are trash, the bipolar personalities of the Main characters are throwing me off, and so many scenes dont make sense. Just which direction did the directors want? Plus i really wanted to find the chemistry between those two, but all i can feel is a childish girl whose still stuck in middle school, and the ml stuck in an older brother role. All the romantic scenes do not feel romantic at all, i am not liking this type of roles for esther, she could do so much better if she wasn't told to act like a child. What i want is a confident mature Fl, she can be mature, kind, and soft spoken without all this childlike script, the script is throwing meee offfff, like i keep feeling like "Aint no way this grown woman just said that". I know they want to make the fl the light in the ml's life, but the execution of this is so bad, i didn't even feel this way with hidden love when the fl was actually a teenager.
Tbh the issue isnt even esther's voice, the issue is the fl's character and the script, idk why they have my queen…
One more thing, what was that singing scene? Please, it looks like a middle school talent show, and the song sounds like a lullaby not a love songgggg lorddd grant me patience.
Tbh the issue isnt even esther's voice, the issue is the fl's character and the script, idk why they have my queen acting like a toddler one second and a baddie the other second, its so off. Some of the things she does and says, no way a teenager would even say them, and def not a grown 19yr woman, it feels like i am watching an older brother taking care of his immature younger sister in the worst way. Such a turnoff. I'm only enduring it to see whats going to happen, but whoever wrote that script and the character, seriously were they thinking about a 12 year old kid, or a grown woman. They're trying to push that agenda "she's too innocent for this world" and then she gets a wet dream, like wtf is happening. Then we got that annoying ahh friend of hers who keeps giving the worse advice possibly, seriously when u saw them filming mumu with that thai hottie chick, shouldn't she have tell mumu? And this Zhao dude keeps changing his mind, one second he's flirting, the other he's distant, choose one jeez? the only character i like is San lai, he's funny and supportive, but how the hell did his pink car keep stopping in that race?? He literally learned from Zhao how to drift. He got a whole ahh truck and he cant drive straight. So many things are off, the only part that i truly love is the racing and drifting scenes, that budget was high.
calm down, liking or not liking someone's voice doesnt have to be said out loud, that is ur personal opinion,…
That's right, but not opinions about a persons appearance or inherent characteristics like their voice or tone, this is Ether's real voice, i think you should focus on the drama itself, rather than things that cant be changed. If it bothers you so much, then dont watch it, but i dont think a person deserves this type of judgement just because of their voice. If u were to criticize her acting, then that might be more reasonable than judging a person's voice, but u cant because she is a good actor. People always try to find the faults in others, but no one has it all down, those actors are real ppl, if you are so mad about minor imperfections that a human has, then simply do not watch it, and go watch anime with an artstyle and voice acting that you find perfect.
I understand how these tropes can be problematic in the grand scheme of things but also…the summary literally…
No i dont think the trope can be problamatic, the discribtion of the show is whats problamatic to me. Watching the show, u can clearly see how they aren't related, and he wasnt even offically adopted, her dad just took his brothers friend in his house and wanted to take care of him, and for a while they were raised together, but thats about it. It's like saying people who go into foster care can't date the foster family's daughter, the ml was simply in foster care in a sense, not adopted.
