Am I the only one who actually like that drama both couple? The OST also is the best out of of all OSTs in all…
Yes, I strongly agree with you as one of the best features of this show is the various OSTs that it has, sung by professional singers - They're so good to listen with . .
- And so, our liking of a show is greatly affected by the choice of a Background Music (BGM) and OSTs (Original Soundtrack) it uses. - The soothing melodies, the relaxing tone behind a talented singer’s beautiful voice, the lyrics that just seem so fitting for the storyline, a good OSTs will fully help engage the viewer's feelings to the drama, and thus helps create memorable moments and deepen the viewers’ connection to the story and characters."
Such an interesting article to read! Very well written! Reading this article make me feel that I was brought into the settings or location of the story and journeyed along with the numerous characters. Thank you so much for your generous work here.
You really can't rely on the comments to gauge the quality of dramas anymore. This is a good rom-com, and there's…
A beautiful words of appreciation! A feeling of enjoyment --- You articulately stated it so well . . "Appreciation is a wonderful thing: it makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well"
---- And an appreciative person is always a happy person ----
everyone here is saying they love the 2nd couple. what is their dynamic/tropes? From the trailer and MDL summary…
Hello. I think you should direct your question to those who really vouched for this 2nd Couple. Filtering the so many previous written comments, you will easily spot those who asserted they were the best.
-- As for me, I am 2 years into K-dramas and I don't know them, my first time to hear their names, as much as this is my first time to watch a Korean romantic drama. I am more into ancient / historical dramas. - In addition, this is my first time to watch the female and male lead here - I am not comparing anyone here - as I don't know their background; much more to judge how they act . . . (In Psychology: The act of judging others through comparison is often fueled by an innate desire to elevate one’s own self-worth by downplaying the strengths or successes of others.)
*** I came to this drama to relax and to be entertained ***

YouTube is a place where most K-Drama Lovers existed and they write so well there - and they knew how to appreciate. They are just there - enjoying a drama that they loved to watch, as simply as that -
And one of my associates and I are sometimes filtering all those numerous comments there - (a tedious work of statistics) - however - when people are happily writing, you cannot but be happy with them -

Oui! The OSTs of one show is one aspect which can either build or break a show.
"Music is a Universal Language. It just proves that Music Knows No Time, No Boundaries. Everyone can Enjoy it Regardless of its language."
And we are of one mind that we are lucky to be given such beautiful soundtracks throughout the course of this drama . .
Une belle bande sonore qui restera toujours chère à nos cœurs car elle nous aide à comprendre pleinement les sentiments des personnages de ce beau drame. Et à nous connecter à eux. Merci.

Yes, it is still heart fluttering and cute! You got the right words here.
I filtered most comments on this drama at YouTube, and about 80% of the comments there were synonymous with your words . . -- YouTube seems to be the place where most people are writing in a cheerful and happy tone. They knew how to appreciate a drama which can entertain them and they react positively.

Yes! We're on the same boat! 😊🙂
The first time that I've heard of this "Boyfriend", I kept listening to it, and even humming it in my work -- to the extent that those associates came to know and loving the melodies of the song . . . Swaying our heads and tapping our feet (while working) to the upbeat tune . . Everyone else is happy . .
And this is what a drama should be: "To entertain people". 💞💕
* My liking of a show is greatly affected by the choice of a Background Music (BGM) and OSTs (Original Soundtrack) it uses. Hence, we are not only watching a drama here, with such uplifting and meaningful lyrics of all OSTs that this drama have - we became invested in a drama and then the feeling of "empathy" towards a drama character begins.
I am trying to catch up before this one ends this weekend. I have been so busy. I just finished episode 3 and…
Beautifully said. And yes, the episodes are drawing near to end this weekend.

Whether it is a regular Cinderella story or a "reverse" Cinderella story, it is still a fairy story. From my perspective,…
Such a logical viewpoint on a drama! Very well written. You dwell on the storyline, not too much on the personalities/celebrities of this show . .
-- I remembered again our American Mentor on Arts and Literature: "Dramas are works of fiction. The actors and actresses were hired to entertain people, and entertained people get joy in watching the said drama and move on"
However, much of the joy in watching a drama is lost when --- -- some viewers "criticize all details of a show", forgetting that there is no such perfect drama, no perfect storyline; there are always a level of flaws around -- and this "comparison game" - we compare about so many actors and actresses - that one is better than the other - and so hateful and insulting words were hurled to the lesser person -- (whom we liked should be the best); but in our haste to judge others, we also forgot that those underrated actors, as time passes became the "Gems of the Entertainment Industry".
*** Here, I want to share a portion of an article written by a young friend who is studying Engineering. Young as she is, her mind is more mature and responsible, especially in her writings: ***
"In watching a drama, we frequently need to ease up and just appreciate things without any pressure, excessive expectations, or anything else. And that frequently entails avoiding a lot of internet debate. And if you love something, it may be quite exhausting to go through almost every possible critique of it to defend what you love. It's unhealthy to approach something you love as a cult, but the opposite extreme of over-analyzing everything for defects and so on is equally extremely draining. Being so preoccupied with absurd standards of flawlessness that you overlook what it is that makes you appreciate what you love regardless of its shortcomings."
"We should relax, enjoy things without being overly critical, and let people love what they love without judgment." ** It's about finding a balance between analyzing and appreciating. **
Is that so? I have not seen or watch any drama of Lin Yi. I am fairly new to K-dramas, about 2 years; And about 3 years in C-dramas . . I worked in the Legal Industry and I don't have much time to watch dramas . .

Wow! Such beautiful lines of thoughts! So impressive and detailed insights on writing a drama review! You're so amazing when writing this one - considering you merge a good number of logical words here . . . Equally impressing! Although, I have not watch this drama - but I can feel that I am watching its viewpoint by your writings here. Surely, this drama is worth watching as with your good rating deserve a good one . . . Thank you for sharing your valuable insights here.
Having read quite a few comments, it seems to me that some have forgotten/overlooked the story's premise of flipping…
A very well-written insight on the storyline of this engaging drama. You articulately stated it well. I have been following your writings here.
I remembered our American Teacher in our study of Anthropology; she reminded us that - - "Watch the storyline of a drama/show - don't watch it on an eye-candy element" - "Watch a play based on what it is conveying to the viewers - don't watch it by comparing the celebrities or the performers on it"
For watching a show - with both a subjective and a more objective mindset, only then that one can enjoy the show ----
Cinderella at 2AM is not only a Korean drama of its own - this story of rags to riches, the original story of which is "Cinderella and Her Prince Charming has been in mankind's history since 1634. And its story is written by an Italian author named Basile. Hence, this K-drama is a modern concept of Cinderella - an ordinary lady being loved too much by a son of a rich family -
To compare an actor or an actress to another is like playing a "comparison game" that one is greater than the others . . . We forget that each person has a quality which should be recognized and only a humble person can recognize and appreciate the talents of other people.
--- Since we don't like an actor/actress, there is already a preconceived notion that the other one is higher and greater than the other one. And so we wrote hastily, we judge so fast, we hurl insults, and we think we knew better than the actual Producer and Director of this show.
- And so, our liking of a show is greatly affected by the choice of a Background Music (BGM) and OSTs (Original Soundtrack) it uses. -
