Hello @Dedra70,
I am glad that you are here . . You really knew the best drama to watch . . - Your catching words and happier words are like a fresh dew which gladdens one's heart . . - I kept looking on your comments on some dramas as I felt light-hearted reading your comments . . I have a beautiful memories of your words on "Different Princess". - You're so appreciative and you're straightforward with people who will do their best in spite of adversities . . Thank you so much. ** Merci beaucoup. Il est très rare de rencontrer une personne heureuse comme vous. Prenez soin de vous et meilleures salutations. **
I'm glad that ep 7 lived up to the expectations set by ep 6. It's getting interesting as it unfolds. I must say…
Such good points on the unfolding of the real storyline . . However, your disappointments of these parents are fully answered by the comments of @KenshinKaoru - as her writings carried a great sense of sensible reasonings. You may see her comments below - ---
This was a good Deep episode, I like that they are exploring the damage done to children by abuse and alcoholism.…
@KenshinKaoru Hello . . . Such beautiful and a stronger comments, in terms of logical and sensible reasoning. Your words are rightly well- written. You You clearly defined the emotional trauma here. You dig deeper on the social ills of a society --- Your writings can make a good case to those studying Psychology . .
-- Most dramas are viewed superficially; as one great American Drama Analyst had written: "Watch the storyline, not the eye candy element". As such that viewers are more attracted to what is pleasing to their eyes and what is visually attractive . . -- Hence, superficial viewing == the ML, the FL are not good, as they cannot act well - the age gap, the settings and location of the storyline, all details are thoroughly examined. They criticized everything --- even the angles of the light on the actors / actresses. They're quick to judge without knowing the facts - they looked only on the physical aspects of the show. These viewers wanted that the drama and its casts/characters should conform to what they like - and they even write as if they are the Director and Scriptwriter of the said drama. And so when their passions are not filled up with what they expect - the casts in the drama are being targeted. And this is one issue which besets most Entertainment Industry - the viewers are writing as they know everything under the sun . . So, slanders, defamations, insults were hurled into the celebrities . . Either they build the acting career of an actor or actress or either they destroy it completely.
** The way you coined your words have that one aspects of what this drama is being addressed upon. The emotional trauma of being abused by one's parents, who in the first place, should be the very first person to defend and cared for their children indefinitely. In reverse, we have the parents who are more than too happy to see their children are suffering rather than them . . . . "When Trust is Broken, Everything Else is Gone . . ** The emotional scars on the FL and to her brother is something worthy to be noted on this show, as why they are acting like that --- loss of trust, birthdays are not significant - avoid the rich people - don't want too much attention - develop a cold personality --- to sum it all ** loss of trust towards humanity *** as no one will love them anyway . . *** As these emotional wounds are deeply imprinted in her heart, the FL does not believe anymore on the so-called "fairy tale romance - of having a Prince Charming rescuing her" --
She grew up on a hostile environment of physical, emotional and psychological traumas which give her and her brother a shattered sense of security . . What is there to hope for?
** For those who understand the Mental Traumas of the children inflicted by their own parents - will find this drama as an engaging and an interesting one - It does not only show on how a sincere love of an ML can change the mind-set of the FL - but it shows on how "Love can Conquer all Obstacles."
Haha thanks Cho Na, but it’s dated 9/14/24 so probably scheduled to be published ?
Wow! Cho Na, I just stumbled on this article and I saw your name here. I am a big fan of "Word of Honor" and I have written extensively on YouTube on defense of this drama and of Simon Gong and Zhang Zhehan (using legal terms). -- Do you have the link where I can watch this "August" - I want to share it with my associate in the legal industry who became a fan of ZZH due to my writings in YouTube. Thank you so much.
I really enjoyed the drama as well and I don’t believe the leads are weak or anything. The only problem I see…
@Nelly12 Such logical and an excellent points to read! You nailed it so well! You wrote: "I was particularly touched when Ju won asked her to stop being the chairwoman for a minute and just be his mom."

(I will share your rational insights with my associates in the legal industry.) Thank you. Merci beaucoup et meilleures salutations.
sorry for my bad english 🤗😅just a question ? if it's so good how ml act a simp and fool , why never see…
You nailed it so well! An excellent points! "Then again, if you don't like it, you don't. Just mention the point nicely about why you don't like it and move on."
For we came to watch a drama to be entertained, not to be stressed out!
Honestly, I like this drama. I read a comment criticising the male lead and don't understand nor do I agree, he's…
Wow! One of the Best And Sensible Comment that I've ever read in this section: "Is it really necessary to be so harsh and mean? Can't we state our opinions like normal people and not ruin the show for others?"
yes you are right as it is a common problem faced in most of the drams to have a lot of criticism and anti fans…
As simply as that . . if they don't like the show or drama; then don't watch. Rather than writing too much negativity around. --- As it is written in quotes: "Our words not only reflect who we are but also shape how we perceive ourselves and how others perceive us."
@Aaahaanaaa,Hello.Your words here are articulated very well . . : "Gone are the good old days when even criticism…

-- Interesting to know; for I can imagine that those who were writing before were just too excited to share their fantastic discoveries while watching a drama of their choice . . And then, they wrote so well and with respect.
--- However, at this present time, there is some twists, as you get deeper into a drama, you will meet some fanatics who it seems have watched everything under the sun. They have their own opinions and too many opinions create chaos that it sometimes overrides the actual facts. -- When one viewer is tired of a drama or a show, calling it as boring or not interesting, etc, etc . . they will harshly target the personalities on it (actor/actress). Especially they favored another actor/actress.
-- Art, Literature, and Play should be viewed logically; however, when criticism arises - the views turn into a subjective level --- Notice the word "subject" - (a person being described and dealt with) - and now a drama is not viewed anymore as something that can entertain a person. Such drama is viewed and is not good because of the person/subject involve on it. *** And what I have written before - "we lose much joy in watching a drama when we are overly critical of it, we expect too much, and when we measure it excessively based on what we like."
I love this show, the clumsy take is what defines it no? I thought that's common sense, but so many people hate…
@Aaahaanaaa, Hello. Your words here are articulated very well . . : "Gone are the good old days when even criticism of a drama was written so thoughtfully" . . and these are logically true. - Yes, "gone are the days when viewers/audience can write words respectfully." What you can find here are some words of hate, dislikes, insults and sometimes slander to the image and name of an actor/actress whom they don't like, forgetting that such actor and actress are only acting based on the script that were given to them. -- While they will tell you that they have the right and the freedom to write whatever they think; they forget that "freedom comes with responsibilities".
You're really the Best here . . ! I truly appreciate your words.
