In a discussion of this show with a friend, who is a university professor, and who happened to read the comments here, he asked me yesterday:
"Are these people writing here a group of elementary pupils or are they in middle school?" For it seems they have watched everything under the sun and they know too much about the Korean Entertainment Industry . . .
-- For my group, especially for myself who is only 2 years into Korean dramas, and who only knew and watch the actors and actresses here for the first time; we came into this drama to be entertained and to be happy; for after all, a drama was produced for entertainment purposes, to cheer up, to give joy to the people watching it, to inform, and to educate. To make people relax and to be cheerful.
-- And instead, what do we get from the Comments Section here? ---- We overly criticize and complain for everything, we expect too much ---- We have name-calling, fast judgment on age differences, insults, spiteful / hateful words, harshly criticizing and comparing one actor/actress with another, and writing as if we think and knew better than the actual Director and Scriptwriter of this said show.
Have we ever ask ourselves? What is in the mind of the Producer and the Director for producing and directing this drama? Why do they chose these Leads?
- And we argue: "I am free to write anything that I want to write'. However, the legal and moral concept of a true freedom is not to do what we want to do; but rather to do what we "ought" to do. And freedom comes with responsibilities. A responsibility to act, to think and to write as a decent human being - a person who knew how to respect others as one wants to be respected.

For in real life, the right to choose whom we like and to whom we choose to get marry is considered as an "inalienable rights" which is included in most constitutions of a free country. And to question why an older actress was selected to be the Female Lead and paired with younger Male Lead - is to question what talents and skills that she has why she was chosen. And this is tantamount to discrimination to her human rights.
