This show leave us in a cliff hanging position where we don't know what will happen next, leaving us in suspense . .

@Yue I concur with you! Logically true. This engaging drama has no big promotion, it seems it was released and aired on a time when we are not expecting it.
Even a surprise to those who admired Song Yiren and who are waiting for this drama for a long time. However, after 2 days of airing from the time it was first shown on January 12, the rating is 8/10 in MDL.

-- I remembered what it was with the other drama of Song Yiren: "The Inextricable Destiny".
The said drama didn't get proper promotions since the beginning, it was not released for quite a time, just like this drama, "The Different Princess".
When TID was released, there was no press-con, no fan's meet & greet.
The two main leads, Song Yiren and Wang Youshou only relied on their own strength to promote it.
However, the drama got the Top 5 in the 1st and 2nd week of its airing in China.

And now, here we are with this "Different Princess", I believe that this drama will rely on the acting capabilities of its actors/actresses plus the support of those fans who know how to appreciate talents when they saw one . .

It is an irony and I guess, that if you are considered a very big star and a so-called extremely handsome actor and extremely beautiful actress in China, fans will notice you easily, even some of them don't have an excellent acting skills.

That's great then . . Studying another language is an added asset / skills for you . . .
