Am I the only one or do some of the scenes remind you of Resident Evil as well? It has been a while since RE7 but some things really give me those vibes.
I must admit that I actually prefer this season over the first one. I feel pretty indifferent about Mrs. Cop but Mrs. Cop 2 somehow still managed to draw me in though I was almost sure I wouldn't like this either.
I don't know what it was but somehow it failed to catch my attention and keep me on the edge. I simply feel.. indifferent. Though I liked Do Young and Jin Woo.
I'm not a huge fan of sageuk but this one seems decent. Yeah, the first 5 episodes were romantic but I found myself…
My opinion didn't change, I just ended up watching 12 episodes in one day (and finished it within 3 days) and I really enjoyed it. It could be because I'm in love with political dramas and all the ups and downs of life and friendship, it could be because the romance was great but not the only aspect. I'm not a person to rewatch dramas but this is a pretty good sageuk so if someone's hesitating - they should go for it!

I'm "only" on episode 12 and I'm growing to love Han Jae Joon and Park Hoon equally. I wrote it once somewhere (probably another comment on another drama) but these grey characters are quite.. human. They have their reasons and I understand those though I don't necessarily agree with their choices. So far it's not the best drama I've ever seen but I really enjoy the story (though it's a bit too focused on political things for me, personally; and I love political dramas recently).
Cringe, cliché and a long-ass ad? Hell yeah. A funny and cute watch? Definitely. The story isn't ground-breaking, the soundtrack annoyed me after about 2 episodes but it was a refreshing watch for me after all the longer, more serious dramas that I watched recently.
On a side note, if I was in her place I don't know whom I would've chosen. I guess Park Hae Jin or Ji Chang Wook. But Lee Jong Suk was pretty cute, too, and if I had to make a choice I would probably end up flipping tables.
As a fan of the original CM I think it's important to remember one thing - this is a K-Drama remake. If you expect it to be all like the original CM you may be disappointed. However, keeping in mind that this drama was meant for a Korean audience and produced in a different cultural background you will understand the differences.
Yes, some things annoyed me. For example that they didn't stick with an.. episodical? structure. I'm not a native speaker but it really annoyed me that some cases were in the 2nd half of episode a, the whole episode b and the first quarter of episode c (and what we knew as ending quotes appears very much in the middle of an episode when the case is just solved at that point).
But I see how one could and would probably enjoy this drama when it is taken and reviewed without comparisons to the original after all. It's not the best crime/action/thriller drama I've watched and I don't love it but it's also more than okay for a remake of a US series.
told my self 'okay lets watch this for yoona, im bored anyway" and uggh her character has less will than a doll,…
Choi Yoo Jin was probably one of the most well-written characters I've ever seen in Korean dramas, I do love her bitterness but also that she wasn't like this forever. As for Yoona, I think her character wasn't the greatest because the writer struggled to balance the childhood trauma and her later development - but since she grew up fairly isolated I guess something like this was supposed to happen though.
20 minutes in, and this drama is already ridiculous. I so loved the cinematrophy, the camera job, the angles,…
I don't know if you continued to watch it but I personally think that it got better afterwards. Mind you, I'm only at episode 3 so I can't talk about the rest of the drama yet, and I know that sometimes the introductions provided in the k-drama industry are lame but then again I always keep watching and I love action dramas so maybe that's why I fairly enjoyed the majority of what I've seen so far. Though yes, the running away from the nuns followed by police was.. awkward, to say the least.
This is kind of an "I like it but it's not absolutely mindblowing"-kind of drama to me. The plot description is so misleading though... it's more about the president and Han Tae Kyung's attempt to reveal the truth behind the Yangjinri incident while (of course) someone's trying to stop them. I quite liked Yoochun's acting in this one though, and also Park Ha Sun did a great job.
I really want to know how you can see this drama as boring?? like give me some points... because from my point…
Well, I can only talk about myself but I dropped it when I first attempted to get through. It's not bad while I'm watching the episodes but last time I tried, I couldn't motivate myself to watch the next episode. I'm currently giving it a second chance (hoping I'll get through now that almost two years passed) but in the end - preferences are different. Nobody needs to be able to give a logical reason as to why they find something boring or dull. It may be just how one feels about it, and that's okay.
loved it woooh so glad that death note always get good remakes
So how about the Netflix "remake"? The trailer didn't look like they even tried to stick to the original in any way except for the fact that Death Note's exist..
Currently watching it to prepare for my Japanese exam (need to study some more grammar so only 1 episode today) but I'm totally hyped
and STILL love Ryuk as much as I always did.
Okay, so I finished it and while I still think the story was kind of obvious this drama played me too well - now it might be hormones or the drama or a weird combination that made me cry but thanks, OCN, for always ruining me emotionally.
I really loved both Choi Jin Hyuk and Yoon Hyun Min in this drama but pretty much the whole cast was amazing imo.
What did I learn in this drama? I should trust my instinct. When I feel like a character is creepy they usually turn out to be creepy for real.
After all a solid drama in my opinion. I see people comparing it to Signal a lot but as I did not watch Signal yet I judged this drama solely by itself which makes it a solid 9 or 9.5 for me.
I just finished episode 2 and I already have an idea on where this is going.. If it's really that "simple" to figure out I might throw something at my screen.. I need plot twists gdi!
Oh well, except for that I'm enjoying this drama so far
I'm not really into family dramas but this one was quite good. I have never seen a female character this shameless in a drama before but this is what makes this drama unique - the "queen of ambition" does everything to rise.
Solid watch, yes, a tad bit too long but it kept me watching without really boring me. The acting.. well, I don't like Soo Ae that much and I don't get why everyone thinks she's so pretty but then again that doesn't define her acting skills and I really hated her character (which means she really did well enough). I was cheering for Kwon Sangwoo's character throughout this drama, too. I do think the cast did well. If I would rewatch dramas this might be one of the candidates
