Sung Joon and Uee have like... absolutely no chemistry. Park Hyung Shik and Im Ji Yeon, on the other hand, should have been the leads in this drama. It could have worked perfectly fine (though it would've been just another typical chaebol heir and poor girl story...)
Just a comment--I'm not sure what you have against Park Shin Hye, but I really like her dramas! I think she is…
As I said I have nothing against her per se, and I can't even point out what exactly it is I don't like about her acting - sometimes she seems to stiff and emotionless I guess? It's hard to explain. But I know I'm definitely one of the few people who's not a fan of her as an actress, or her dramas for that matter (I pretty much hate You're Beautiful to this day and again I don't know why exactly that is. Maybe I'm just weird).
Whoever thought Kaneki Masayuki may be a good villain was dead wrong. Like, come on!Either Park Byung Eun or the writer or the director messed up terribly here.
I don't get why everyone's talking about the chemistry between the main characters. Either I'm blind or too focused on the crimes for me to see the great chemistry. Or it's because I hate romance in OCN crime dramas since God's Quiz and My Beautiful Bride.
I really liked season 1 and was looking forward to Voice 2 after lots of rom-com's I've watched recently - every once in a while I need to return to my crime dramas to not lose my mind. I think what it lacked to me was mainly an issue towards the end. Yes, without Kwon Joo's hearing ability things would've never turned out this way but somehow she was turned into a sidekick and her hearing was a "fun fact". Don't get me wrong, I really like Do Kang Woo (though I prefer Moo Jin Hyuk and Shim Dae Sik) but he seemed to be the only "true" main character throughout this season. I'm still going to watch the third season (because OCN manages to play me very well every single time they create an ending like this) but I wish they would've given this an entirely new title instead of reusing the "popularity" of the first season.
As many others pointed out, the plot is a bit meh. It starts cringey but fun, then it's a super cute fluffy romance and then - the last episodes just made me wonder why in the world they added this or that. This would've been better of with 60 min episodes instead of... 68 I believe in most cases (that would've been about 2 hours less!) or with 14 episodes instead of 16 if one wanted to keep the episodes that long. Neither the cast, nor the acting, nor the music bothered me but the plot wasn't enough for 18 hours.
When starting this, I singed up for a cliche-filled teen-rom com set in a high school. And let's be honest - this…
My opinion didn't change, if you know what you signed up for and you don't expect something that you've never seen before you may actually enjoy this. Though some things don't make a lot of sense (the timeline drove me insane!) but it's still a cute, enjoyable high school romance. And I personally liked "Love is the moment" as a song. Way before watching this drama. I'm still not sick of it and I don't think it was overplayed either.
When starting this, I singed up for a cliche-filled teen-rom com set in a high school. And let's be honest - this is exactly what I'm getting so how can I complain about this? I knew what I was getting myself into so it's not the drama that's disappointing when you know what to expect. Though I STILL don't like Park Shin Hye. I never liked her acting or her characters and I doubt that will ever change sadly... it's a shame because I guess she's such a sweet person and she's pretty as well but it seems like I'll have to avoid her dramas.
I watched this years ago and it was my first drama ever! can't remember much but it was extremely cliche and cheesy…
lol I feel the same about Boys Over Flowers (which is honestly really cheesy and filled with cliches as well) but I guess most of us have special feelings towards our very first K-Drama. And maybe I'm not hating Heirs yet (finished ep. 6) because I loved BOF so much and the "fairytale-like" stories are so far kinda similar haha
One of the worst dramas I ever watched. I really don't understand what the hibe about. I honestly don't know how…
I will agree with you with most but one thing - her mother asked her to transfer the savings to her sister in the US and she said she'd deliver it personally. Yes, with a bad intention but saying she took her mom's money to run off kinda disregards this. Though I wish her sister would've been hit hard by karma right then and there but you can't have everything...
This one is a hassle to rate. I absolutely despise the female main character (not the actress obviously) and some parts apparently were not thought through. This drama could've been E V E R Y T H I N G but it turned out to be a mess that lost me after the first two episodes and wasn't able to pull me in again afterwards. If I was to ever compile all of my most-hated dramas into a ranking, this would be there for sure. And rank no.1 for the worst female main in K-Drama history is safe as well.
I literally just heard about this drama in 2019 and watched it and it's absolutely amazing. This really hit a soft spot for me regardless of the cliches which I usually despise. I really have nothing to complain about though it was a biiiit slow at times.
Seriously! Are the names here of his upcoming dramas just suggestions! When is he coming back!!!
As far as I remember Secret released the first still-cuts recently. Four men was (allegedly) cancelled. It was supposed to be his comeback but the production was a mess.
I like the actors but hate almost all characters. Whoever thought this was a good idea should be stopped from working in the industry tbh. This is one of the most mediocre dramas I've seen in a while.
This drama could've been EVERYTHING. It's funny and also exciting (though I did have my suspicions pretty early) and it would've worked without the romance as well. The whole romance didn't properly develop imo, it was just there at one point and while there were some sweet moments I just don't see the reason, or the chemistry. I won't blame this on the actress but I believe it was the writer who messed up that part while trying too hard to mix a love story, bromance, action and suspense. That being said, it's far from the worst I've ever seen but maybe I had too high expectations because I loved the concept behind this when it was released.
It feels a bit dragged out already and I'm just on episode 12. The intrigues just resemble those in other sageuk too much for my liking (though yes, if you know Korean history you'll also know that the clan politics are very much... actual history). I guess I'll finish this within the next 2 to 3 days but I really hope it gets better again. The first episodes were promising after all.
OCN does this all the time. Open endings, room for more episodes, but it never happens.
Don't get me started on God's Quiz... I enjoyed the first 3 seasons, then eventually ended up just finding the 4th one mediocre - and among all of their original dramas they decide to reboot God's Quiz. Like, please. Accept that it's over and move on, OCN, will you? D: I haven't watched those dramas yet (I always wait until something's finished and binge-watch it and took a break for almost 2 years from Asian dramas) but I also get that a second season can be a huge disappointment. I sometimes find myself enjoying second seasons more than first seasons but that can be entirely my preference. xD

As a huge fan of Special Affairs Team TEN, Vampire Prosecutor and Missing Noir M I'm a bit torn. If they just properly ended dramas and didn't leave things as open as they do! XD Reasons why I'm in a weird love-hate relationship with OCN and their original productions...
