I find the cinematography to be exceptionally beautiful. The places used to film this drama is slightly different compared to other drama. I find myself paying close attention to the angle and color used here. Everything is chef kiss for me. 😍

The tea ceremony was very educational for me, especially the tea art. So pretty.

The slow-burn romance is 🔥🔥🔥. They don’t officially get together until E17 (when he propose to her). He steals a quick kiss at the end of E18. But then more kisses between them in E19-20.

I thought Gu Qianfan looked 🔥 when he met with Pan’er after the court trials, before the girls left for the Eastern Capital. The scene when he grab her umbrella to hold it for her. There’s a slight 5 o’clock shadow. Also, those intense looks between them. 😍

I am planning to make a finale summary edit once this drama ends. This is the first drama where I’ve started making these weekly edits because I enjoy watching this drama so much.

I’ve even downloaded Heroes in 4K, in anticipation of making an edit for the drama. But I got distracted by ADoS. 😅 If I have time in the future and finish watching the drama, I might make an edit for it.
