Hi everyone, I’ve put together a FMV for this drama after binge-watching the last 8 episodes yesterday. This was such a mature and satisfying drama; love the ending. It’s going on my list of favorite dramas for 2022. This video is the longest I’ve ever made (at 12 minutes). Hopefully, I was able to capture their beautiful love story. Enjoy!

Agree with you. The emperor’s reaction could be similar to the old Inspector Gao’s reaction when he first saw her as well. It could just be that they think she’s beautiful.
Is the emperor going to make pan er his concubine? Ill be so mad if this will be the ending.
From what the trailers have shown, it doesn’t look like there will be a harem arc. We are still missing scenes of the main leads from the ending credits. Plus it has been confirmed it’s a happy ending. So I truly believe this won’t be the course of the director.

I agree with you as well. We’re halfway through the drama, so there’s bound to be some sort of separation and/or misunderstanding. How can they reconcile without separation? Could the director think of a different way to write the ML’s misunderstanding? Yes, she could have. But so far, I’m not feeling too much angst between them. Probably because it’s too early in the week and we’ll have to wait for more episodes. 😂
what are your guys fav Pan Er/Qian Fan moments so far? My absolute fav is the scene from episode 6 from the time…
Oooo…I love that scene the most out of the drama right now. To me, Chen Xiao seems to look the most handsome. 😍 But here are some of my other favorite scenes:
1. He’s tending to her wounds after the girls got kicked out of Eastern Capital. 2. His pillar head rolls after hearing that in her heart, he’s her hero. 3. Love his proposal after seeing her dance.
