I enjoyed the pairing of these two and it was refreshing to see how honest Chu Kong was with Xiang Yun. Their love felt very wholesome, even with the mixture of comedy and angst. Also, this drama was a (short) happy ending rather than an open-ending.

I can never understand the craziness of some cnetz. A similar situation happened during the airing of Fireworks of My Heart. Both main leads were attacked, but particularly more on the FL. It’s just so sad. I’m actually enjoying this drama as the storyline is improving.

I thought this was a good drama with an overall story that felt solid and the chemistry between all characters was well-balanced. The CGI, cinematography, and fighting scenes are so well done along with some great OST.

It’s unfortunate how this amazing drama is so disliked in China. I see a great difference when I posted my video for this drama on YouTube versus BiliBili. I get nothing but POSITIVE feedbacks on this drama from international viewers on my YouTube channel, whereas the only comment I got from BiliBili was they’re surprised this drama was promoted on their platform. Like WTH….?

I found both main leads to have performed so well in this drama. I’ve followed Yang Yang for years, so I’m not surprised by his performance. It’s my first time watching Wang Churan, but I ❤️ her performance. I will definitely follow her future works.
