First, there is no victim in this situation lol. Second, it was a public space where he was filmed, therefore there is no reasonable expectation of privacy. And third, you are probably only speaking for yourself, because I personally have never smoked in a no smoking zone or wrongly discard a cigarette. Just because this was a “minor” offense doesn’t mean he gets a free pass. He was held accountable and he apologized. Lastly, please do not compare this minor offense to a high crime offense like r@pe. It just doesn’t make sense to compare the two when they are both very different offenses. And nobody is even saying to cancel him, we are just saying he should be more responsible. For those r@pist you mention, please state their names so people can be more aware. We should hold everyone accountable for their actions.

Yes! I’m satisfied with how their relationship is progressing so far but there is definitely room for growth. Since there’s also still many more episodes, I’m sure their relationship and the angst will develop better later on

I agree that there are a lot of anti fans but there’s also a lot of toxic fans here. Can we just stop comparing Immortal Samsara to other dramas that are unrelated? Comment section is full of toxic fans trying to start arguments. Like why is LLTG and IS even in the same sentence? They’re unrelated and different dramas with different actors. You can watch both or watch one and not hate on each other. Please just stop comparing them and mentioning LLTG or Lusi like wtf they not related to this drama. Stop focusing on the ratings, as long as you enjoy it and most people enjoy it the ratings don’t really matter much here on MDL.
And then here’s also my problem with some of you people coming here to comment “because of “this and that” I won’t be watching that IS drama anymore.” It doesn’t add to the discussions we are already having about this drama. It just incite arguments. If you have a valid point on why you don’t like the drama we will have a discussion, but just saying you don’t like it because its’s predictable? (By the way most dramas are predictable to a point, for example- romance dramas will have romance - like duh this is a romance/xanxia drama so yes the fl and ml will fall in love, obviously and it’s not a real reason to say you don’t like this drama lol) Or that because there’s some toxic fans? Is not really a good reason to drop a drama. And if something small like this makes you not want to watch a drama anymore then you probably weren’t really interested in watching it in the first place. I wouldn’t have a problem if you tried and it wasn’t your cup of tea, but some of you are just literally coming here to comment that you won’t be watching IS. Right! I wish it was more extended, like I’ll take more to the battle or more to Yan Dan and Zhi Xi relationship even. I feel like she made a 180 way too quickly. And yeah like everything feels kind of rushed right now, we only got white haired Ying Yuan for like 3 episodes and within those short episodes they fall in love?

Some of you guys are saying the pace is slow but like how?? I feel like compared to other xanxia dramas this is actually quite fast paced. Might I say too fast even. I wish their was more scenes of them together and more development with their relationship as gods before moving on to the mortal realm. I know their relationship will probably develop deeper as mortals, but I can’t help feeling that there’s something missing right now. Like we’re already at the first heartbreaking part, but it’s all happening way too fast for me to feel the emotions, if you know what I mean.

Although a great sisterhood would be great, I think Zhixi will probably betray Yandan soon. Her character thus far is too hung up on how Yandan is naturally gifted while she’s not. So there’s already ill feelings brewing, and we all know sooner or later those feelings will spill.

I heard people say it’s a happy ending based off of the novel but I’m not sure. Fingers cross it’ll be a happy ending tho

I thought I was the only one lol! This is the first time I’ve seen him in a drama too so maybe I just need some time getting used to his face. He doesn’t have a lot of scenes so far, so I’m kind of okay with it for now.

So far after watching 5 episodes, this is living up to my expectations. It’s following a steady pace where the characters are being introduced in a timely manner as well as their relationships with one another are starting to form. We also get some history lessons and some world building info on the side, which helped solidify the story even more and made me engaged throughout all the episodes. To say the least I’m loving it so far and can’t wait for more!

There’s some comedy sprinkled in there but there will be more drama and action as the story continues. Enjoy the comedy while you can because it’s going to be a sob fest before you know it!

I know we’re all anxious and excited for this drama, especially since a release date has yet to be confirmed but some of you are getting way too heated over nothing. There was a mention about how Cheng Yi plays a lot of characters that suffers in love, which is related to this drama too because as we can all see by what has leaked and released so far it seems he does suffer quite a bit. I don’t get why your asses are firing up over nothing since it was relevant to this drama. Stop dictating what others can say and cannot say, because all you’re doing is making yourself look bad. We are all just fans who love the actors and are excited for this drama, but some of you are taking this way too seriously. Last time I checked y’all not getting paid for this so just chill out and stfu because your comments are actually the most annoying ones 🙂

I agree that everyone isn’t perfect and that he is entitled to his opinion. However saying it out loud was unprofessional of him especially because he’s a well known actor. It’s pretty much common sense that you shouldn’t bad mouth your coworker and if you do and get caught you should at least offer an apology. I mean think about it if you were to badmouth your coworker and they had heard it, of course your response would be to apologize even if you don’t really mean it. If he was even a little sorry and knew he made a mistake (because yeah everyone makes mistakes) for his inappropriate comment he would’ve apologize to Shen Yue. Which he never did. That implies that he didn’t think it was wrong of him to do that which we all knew it was a dick move. I’m just saying he can think whatever he wants, but he should at least offer an apology to Shen Yue. I’m calling him out, I’m judging him, because he doesn’t seem to think it is wrong. I think that fans do have a say on what they support and what they don’t support. For me voicing my opinion on his behavior is a way of announcing my support for Shen Yue and encouraging him to please acknowledge his mistake. We may not know the whole story but we know enough to say he said something he shouldn’t have. So if he would just apologize to Shen Yue I’d let it go. I’m sure if it was the other way around Shen Yue would’ve gotten much more hate because she is a woman. Even though he cheated on his girlfriend, slept around, and inappropriately said that his coworker was ugly people defend him saying just accept it and move on because he’s simply a man. If it was the other way around I’m sure Shen Yue wouldn’t be as easily forgiven. As fans to simply accept it and move on means we don’t care about what they act like and what they do. But when you’re someone who has millions of people looking up to you, we should care. We shouldn’t just simply accept it and move on because that would mean it’s okay for other people to do the same as he had done. It’s not wrong for us fans to speak out when we know things are clearly wrong.

Yeah.. we don’t really care who he has sex with. It’s really his business but why tf would he then badmouth his costar when he’s an actor who hasn’t to work with different people who has different looks. Ofc everyone has their own thoughts and judgement of what they find attractive but why would he even voice it out loud. It’s really unprofessional to out of the blue say that Shen Yue is ugly or unattractive because it seemed that she might’ve thought of him as a friend at the time. And yeah it might’ve been in a private environment but do you really think once you’ve said something bad about a person that it wouldn’t go around. Once you’ve said it there’s really no telling how far it will go that’s why you shouldn’t even say it in the first place. Yes we as fans don’t need his apology but it would be nice if he would apologize to Shen Yue. We as fans should call them out when ever they do something wrong or they will continue to think that whatever they’re doing is okay. So no we’re not being dramatic.
