Lmao that's why I said ONE of the actresses, in case YL fans come at me lol. I agree with you on how they can generate chemistry with pretty much all of their costars. In YX's case some may argue he only has chemistry with BL, I can see why there's this opinion. However imo most of YX's previous costars weren't the strongest actresses, hence why it's difficult to feel the chemistry if their acting was too stiff. When he paired up with better actresses he could create chemistry well, for example Bailu and Tan Songyun etc, and now my potentially fave pairing of his - Ruonan as well.

So according to the rumor, the female lead doesn't die in the end, but she relies on medicines to support her health for the rest of her life. They basically skipped the novel's epilogue I think. Again it's just a rumor so I'm not sure how accurate it is, but I'd love for it to end that way. The leads fight hard the whole book for their love and to cure Weian's disease, I think it's too brutal to have her die in the end. Also I think the message the drama wanna deliver is be positive and never give up, so they'll probably want to end it on a happy note.

Idk if this counts as a spoiler but I don't think so because it's just a rumor. But rumor has it they won't stick to the novel's ending. But no matter how it ends, I'm glad it's a healing process and filming for YX. Seeing how he described it as warm and inspiring, I'm very excited as a viewer. Chinese melodramas barely made any noise these recent years, so I love to see the potential and meaningful messages LIP will convey.
