I think he's been eating well lately and taking care of his health. He looked skinnier in TTEOTM bc of his previous injuries, but he did all the fighting, flying and carrying bailu scenes well so it's not that he's weak bc he looked skinny. I do hope he gains some weights but I won't blame him if he can't bc everyone's body is different. I think he looks better and better each day tho.

There's lots of competitions in June-August so airing in the last quarter is better for the drama. But December is too late tho, considering they have the trailer and everything. I'm impatiently waiting for this one too😂

All previous rumors said it's by youku but iqiyi is even better so I'm not complaining. This drama should be S level tho bc iqiyi doesn't make S+ drama, but their S level's quality is excellent and well invested so it's gonna be great regardless.

Edit: so it's not confirmed whether it belongs to youku or iqiyi, but it's likely a S grade drama. Hope it ends up being a iqiyi drama 🙏 but either way, I hope the editing team does a better job than in TTEOTM.

Yeah that's why I said it's gonna be a long wait, I think it may come after he finishes filming QJM. I saw that rumor on weibo and all it said was he's approaching a costume and a modern drama. No name or production or anything else yet.

Hopefully now that he's gained massive fame after TTEOTM and his position in the industry is better than before, he'll get paired with better actresses in the future. Li Yitong would be a good FL for QJM in my opinion.

Agreed YX has a good acting range, proven by his characters in TTEOTM. That's why I disagree with people saying he's setting himself up to get typecast. You don't need to worry about that if you're a versatile actor. Also QJM is a big drama so he'd be silly if he turned it down.

About the melon about modern drama, there's a rumor he's approaching a costume and a modern drama. QJM is likely his project after Follow Your Heart, so it may come after QJM - so just eat the melon for now bc it's gonna be a long wait😅

Yeah his modern dramas (bar Love is sweet) aren't too memorable even though his acting is very good. That's why I hope he gets paired with actress on his level in his next modern drama. Most of his previous female leads couldn't act well so it's unfortunate..

Same, I hope he gets paired with an actress who can act. This drama is male centric so the female lead won't have huge impact but it'll be more appealing if the fml is a bit popular and can act. But regardless, I trust YX's ability to deliver great performance and make it a hit.

Also can we talk about his rumored drama after Follow Your Heart? The name is Qian Jie Mei, production is Youku (would be great if someone updated his drama list). Big ip, S/S+ male centric wuxia drama, we'll get to see his character do martial arts and have silver hair if they stay faithful to the novel. Some people are concerned he's getting typecast but to be fair, there's a period he filmed 4 modern dramas (which were aired) back to back. He still has Love Is Panacea to be aired and his character in Follow Your Heart is different from Qian Jie Mei so I don't think it'll be repetitive. He's a versatile actor who mastered many different types of roles so I think he's the last person we should worry is getting typecast. But that's just a melon for now, nothing certain yet. There's also a melon he's approaching a modern drama as well. Regardless, I'm excited 😊

It depends on how soon this one will start filming, dafeng guardian is too big of a drama to give up so it'd not be a surprise if she had to turn this one down. Xiwei is a good actress so I think she'll do well in any drama, just hope this one has better male lead if she takes this role

Didn't he work with Tencent in Lie to love? It's quite recent so I think it's not that they don't want to use him, he's talented and popular so I think everyone will want to work with him. Maybe there's no suitable role for him yet, or he just prefers other projects at the moment.
