Just some thoughts haha, sorry had to vent.. lemme know if you agree
I know in dramaland they like to play up the plot of he/she always loved and waited for the other person for 10, heck 15 years, but gosh in real life that hurts a lot.. poor sunjae...I especially liked inhyuk's speech about sunjae being over 30 and not having one single relationship and how sad it is.
Who could wait that long for one person? What could make you wait for that long, also? I know in my teens I've had one-sided crushes for 3-4 years, but not seeing them after school ended made me forget about them sort of and be able to get on with my life and meet other people.
I somehow wish the time between their last meeting and now was shorter because it's not that realistic in my opinion to still have this kind of longing. And maybe that Sunjae had had other girlfriends, even if it didn't work out for him, and now he was single. Waiting for Sol for all these years knowing she won't be coming to him, as she had made it clear before, makes him out to be a little obsessed with her. This is not love, sorry. It's a little obsessive. I know its kdrama logic, but I've come to really find this type of plot weird as I got older, now after 10+ years of watching kdramas. And it's a pity it went this route, because he is portrayed to be so caring, and respectful and a gentleman. I also wish he had pushed her aside a bit more than he did (maybe throughout 2 episodes), because it would make sense, he doesn't know her anymore, he hasn't seen her in over 10+ years. For Sol it all makes sense as to why her feelings are fresh, but not for Sunjae. I love love love the drama and their chemistry, I just wish it made more sense.
her time is limited tho in the past :( so he'll be left heartbroken again...wondering how they'll handle that…
