But since ur asking just for fun, I go through phases and right now, I am in a GJ phase.... I find him the most pleasing to the eye and cute af. Tho I am yet to start watching this drama, just reading the book and imagining GJS as WKX while occasionally staring at stills from the drama is enough for me to fall hard for him... I can only imagine how I'd feel when I watch the drama.

Haha 50 eps is indeed quite long for someone who has been watching kdramas XD... The Untamed was also my first c-drama and it was a spontaneous fateful decision to watch it :) ... To be completely honest with u, the first time I watched it, I skipped through the show and then towards the second half, as I got hooked to it, I slowed down and kind of understood the plot. And then I went back and rewatched the entire show while reading the dialogues properly and finished the drama without skipping in 3 days.... I even skipped a day of college for it lmaooo And then I read the book (which was BEAUTIFUL btw) and then watched the drama yet again, but now in a new light... so I do hope that someday, in the near or far future, you will come back to this page again :)

The novel is SPLENDID! It's soooo romantic and tragically beautiful, u will reappreciate the drama in a whole new light!
The donghua (anime) is definitely great too, but I personally haven't completed it.
The chibi version is not really the main story of MDZS... It's more like a compilation of the extras and filler scenes from the novel. It is very light hearted and is aimed to make the viewers feel fluffy and happy. So whenever u want to smile and reminisce WangXian, you can try watching an ep or two of the chibi version (which are generally just 3-5 mins long) and it'll never fail to make your day.

Woahhhh XDXDXD I wonder how the voice actors did it lmaooo... are the voice actors anyone notable? How's ur experience watching it dubbed in Hindi? Is it worth a try?

What u deem as 'exaggerated acting' is actually something splendid and immensely heartfelt for many others. TU might not be ur cup of tea at the moment or maybe it'll never be ur cup of tea, but categorising all of c-dramas just based on ur experience with the Untamed is, to put it bluntly, quite narrow-minded... And I mean this as politely as I can, I hope you give other c-dramas a try. There are some really great one's out there that might actually pull u into a whole different world.
And the Untamed has a charm that I found in no other drama. It is completely up to you how u want to perceive it, but I just have to put it out there that the plot, story, acting, friendships, tragedy, and undertones of romance in this drama are just on a whole other level and one needs to actually bond with the characters over the episodes in order to connect with the emotions, in which case skipping the drama will ruin the experience completely.
But as a fellow drama enthusiast, I hope you will reconsider your words and give c-dramas a try, (even if it is not the Untamed) :)

The Machine Translation version is basically translating the chinese text on google translate or using a similar translating tool... it is BAD! The essence of the story is ruined and the reader will have to use their last braincell trying to make out what exactly is happening. Hence, one should stay away from MTL versions of a book as much as possible, unless they can actually spend a good amount of time correcting the text for themselves.
The link I have provided has a proper translation where someone with a chinese background or with chinese fluency translated the book as a way of enhancing their chinese knowledge or just for fun as a fan. It does justice to how beautifully the book is written and makes life much more easier. (God bless all those kind souls)

Hey! The romance is THERE! U can see the MC flirting with the ML the entire time and it's cuteee af! So there is a good amount of romance. It is just nothing explicit and there's a pretty good plot backing it up. The plot just tends to get a little heavy at times but nothing one can't handle :)

It's all fine until I don't think about it.... Once I start thinking about this drama and the book, my heart is in turmoil and my mind is in chaos... My patience is running thin and then CHEN FEIYU, THAT HANDSOME BRAT, DOES SOMETHING WEIRD ON WEIBO AND IT IS DOING MY HEART AND SOUL NO GOOD.... JUST GIVE US THE GODDAMN TRAILER ALREADY BEFORE WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER ETERNITY (Which I don't mind as long as the LA does the novel justice)... Very Well-written and super engaging. It might mess up ur moral compass a bit, but in my opinion, it's worth the story u are about to read haha XD
There might be a few who might not like the themes carried by the book, and if u are one of them, I suggest u hang in there for a while and judge it after you finish reading the entire (or at least more than half) of story.

Hopefully they update the translation by the time I reach that part haha... I am still on ch 40 and it's getting INTERESTING :)

Heyyy! So... I'm not trying to demean the novel in any way! I LOVE Priest. Especially her work - Sha Po Lang - and plan on reading all of her books... but just a heads up - all of Priest's novels are a bit heavy on plot and some are political :) So please start reading it knowing what u are getting into!
