Soooooooo... that was an awfully long drama with the most illogical plot ever! Like seriously... But you know what? That didn't spoil it for me even a bit. I really enjoyed watching it and surprisingly, unlike most people, I actually liked the ending. Yeo Jing Goo is an incredible actor and out-of-this-world handsome, and I mostly continued watching the drama for him, but over all, even though the storyline was hella unreal and cringy, it's entertaining and will keep you awake at night... I get why the reviews of this drama are so low, and they were rightfully given so, but keeping aside all the things that went wrong with this drama, since I enjoyed watching it, I believe some others would as well. So I recommend anyone who's a huge romantic to watch this.
Okay... so I'm on the 20th episode and I'm not gonna lie, there are some major drawbacks in the storyline but I somehow still like this drama. The only thing that's kind of spoiling it is the female leads acting and character in general. Very confusing and those mood swings are kind of getting on my nerves now.
Depression as far as I know.... she felt trapped and like no one really listened to her or understood her. No one tried to. And to add on, she received a lot of hate over the past few years... for un-trivial stuff... I didn't know who Sulli was until 6 hours ago.... but now I just feel awful...
This is devastating... this shouldn't be happening. She didn't commit suicide, she was murdered by peoples words... I just hope wherever she's now, she's deeply loved and finds peace.
And I don't think I've said it enough times, but Park Bo Gum is clearly the heart of this drama. Love In The Moonlight would have been lifeless without him as the lead...
Forgive me for the chain of comments below... I've gotten so used to watching dramas on Viki that when I started watching this on Netflix, my hands were itching to comment on the drama. And what an amazing drama it was. I don't understand why it received as many negative feedbacks as it did, but again, that's just how I feel. Like someone below said in a comment, I cannot picture anyone better that Park Bo Gum playing the role of the crown prince. He literally gave life to the drama witch his character and acting. The story line started of great, and then went a little down hill in between, but gained back its pace towards the end and I'm glad it did. The fights are just amazing. It suddenly makes me want to learn martial arts lol. The drama could have been wrapped up better. The endings always have scope to be better in any drama and I can't really hold it against the drama as a whole. Overall, a really nice watch with the right amount of cliche, humour, suspense and romance.
This drama is so draggy but I think that's the only drawback in it. Honestly, the production, direction, script, story line, and acting are definitely first class. I absolutely love the concept of the drama and I love how each character's character is kind of twisted. I love the secrecy and plot twists. I love the confusion this drama brings with it because it's truly new and entertaining. I'm sure there are more seasons yet to come and when they do, if they continue doing what they are doing now, this drama is going to turn out great. I love Song Joong Ki's acting as Eun Som and I really wish I could see how the drama ends soon...
And I don't get why people hate the story... Like I said below, it wasn't great, but it was definitely watchable. I really loved the backstory. It was sweet.... I don't get why the comments are negative... but again, it's my personal opinion. Might not apply to everyone.
Soo..... I don't know why the show got very less ratings, but it was pretty good. If you want a break from all the thrillers and crime dramas u watch, then this is the show you are looking for. It is a little boring in the beginning and the over all plot line is not that great or unique, but what makes this show worth watching is the relationships between the people in it. They were heartwarming. And when I say relationships, I don't really mean the leads and the second leads, but the mother and son bonding, friendships, bromance.... it was all worth it. The leads definitely lacked chemistry, and it might be because the lead actress is still pretty young, but I think she's passable. Definitely worth a watch if you can handle cheese and a little cringe...

I still can't figure out who the lead actor is.
