Title KinnPorsche
Are TT and Second Chance BL's??? What show does TT stand for?
I saw ThanType but don't recognize anyone from KinnPorsche as having been in it. Which character from KinnPorsche played which character in TharnType?

The episode was able to strike a nice balance between comedy and seriousness. I appreciated that it tried to ground…
Who is Porschay? I saw eps 1 and 2 a couple of weeks ago and do not recall a character by that name. Was he in episode 3 from today? If so, which guy was he?

so many great things so far, but I don't think any of it can surpass how fabulous of a job Tong has done with…

QUESTION

Why was Porsche closing his eyes the whole time that he was saying thank you to Kinn at the end? At first I thought he'd fallen asleep cuz he was so drunk, but in the next moment something happens to indicate that he's clearly awake.

Title Blueming
I've been wanting to write a review for Blueming since the day I watched it. I have a lot to tell and describe…
So the light between dog and wolf is the title Blueming? Do they use the color blue in the chinese word for it as well? I assume it means the way the sky looks bluish but not black at twilight

The falling kiss, which one of my favorite commenters here calls "trip-fall-catch" IS/WAS a big joke, deliberately…
Good lord, she revealed her taste with Miracle of Teddy Bear! The premise of that was as idiotic as the Thai one where a guy falls in love with a dude who's really dead. The Thais make so many BL's that they have clearly run out of relationship tropes. And the Thai BL's tend to suck all around, even if the relationship trope is something new.

It is airing simultaneously on GagaOOLala and Viki, and as much as I like GagaOOLala, I have to tell the Viki…
Gagaloo's subs are so bad it interferes with story logic. For instance, it had the text from his sister address him as "To Dad" instead of "From Dad." I thought that if he was someone's dad, the text must be from his kid, yet he was only 27. There were plenty of other screwups too. So many that if I had only seen it on Gagaloo, I would have called it a bad show. Gagaloo also misrepresented "My Beautiful Man" by having Kiyoi call Hiro "disgusting" all the time when, in fact, he was calling him "weird," which is much less offensive. That caused a lot of people to drop My Beautiful Man also (they thought Kiyoi was "toxic"). Gagaloo has a nice selection going back years, but their subtitles suck.

This series was worth waiting for 2 entire month. I for never hated it as some complained to be slow or dull.I…
Is LOM "Light on Me"? I thought that came out last year. Otherwise, yea, the Koreans own BL right now. Thai shows are largely crap. Some stand out (TharnType), but even the good ones go on too long with 14 episodes just so they can pack in more product placement. There's no product placement in a Korean show. They use tight storylines that use their time wisely.

I liked this show but felt the same as many others about the final episode falling a bit flat. Also some things made no sense.

First, what's the point of saying you'll get married in countries that do not have gay marriage (CuteyPie does this too). This was in the manhua and also made no sense.

Second, why on earth is Taesong going to be a pastry chef? He was never shown baking and, to the contrary, constantly shown exercising, running and at a gym. So does he become a physical fitness trainer or athletics coach? No, he becomes a pastry chef. I hated this in the manhua too.

Third, why does the mother do a180 about turn in one minute flat? Again, this made no sense in the manhua either.

Fourth, where the hell did Youngee's crush on JiHa come from? That was purely added out of nowhere.

The one thing they needed to explain from the manhua but forgot about was the reason for Taesung crying that he did not want Haeboom as a brother in ep 2. It was cuz he wanted to grow up and marry him. Without this explanation the audience is left thinking, wait, I thought Taesung always liked Haeboom even in childhood. Did the screenwriter really just forget that they left this hanging? And took time to set up other irrelevant plot points instead?

Okay, I loved this! Everything about it was amazing and once I started watching I couldn't stop, so I finished…
The couple was SiWon's parents as if they'd never divorced. It was DaOn's vision of things in a perfect world.

With the last episode coming out tomorrow, I’ll write a review here first. To be honest I really like this KBL…
Nicely said, thank you. I am also surprised by how people are complaining this is boring. Now I agree with some that the mom's acting is overwrought when she discovers the boys (gasping, yelling, grimacing, hair pulling, etc), but that is still a more realistic portrayal of Korean homophobia than we get in other KBLs.

For example, Semantic Error was truly wonderful, but I didn't buy that the 2 girls would treat JaengYoung's pursuing a guy as the most natural thing in the world. Nor that JaengYoung would be so nonchallant as to say to another guy, "Why not date?" In Korea, there are still a whole helluva a lot of reasons for 2 boys to not date each other, and Cherry Blossoms at least covered this honestly.

Indeed, it's odd that many were saying they were "bored" by the old "disapproving parent trope," when disapproval is so real in that country. I think the KBL's are geared to the more homo-friendly international audience and, hence, skip what Cherry Blossoms is showing us about homophobia in actual Korea. Even the excellent Blueming (my current fav) will have to take on a disapproving parent if that crazy mom finds out in a sequel.

As for Cherry Blossom's sequel, the tepid reviews indicate that there shall not be one. Kind of crazy when we see so many truly, really bad Thai BL's get sequels. Korean BL's have now risen to top status in the international BL arena and have gotten so good that perhaps we are rating them against each other and setting the bar overly high. If, however, one rates a KBL like Cherry Blossom vis-a-vis other BL's in general, it would show how good Cherry Blossoms actually is.

I wanna see that smoldering, serious side of Taesung from the dream scene show up in other scenes. The cutesy stuff's ok, but this dude's got it in him to be hot, so let's see that again too. Anyone else?

this was a light, fun drama. it was fluffy and cute and the actors did an amazing job bringing the characters…
Sometimes it's better to change a manhua, as they did for Blueming. But the Asians are, in general, super faithful to source material. I am enjoying this show yet it could've benefitted from one overarching plot instead of separate stories strung together -- ie, the bullies, then the manipulative girl, then the horrifying mother (who overacts when she sees the boys kiss) . In all, I am enjoying the 2 boys, and thus it would've been better to make their progress an overarching plot line and flesh it out by adding new levels and incidents that were not in the manhua.

This series is such a masterpiece. The cinematography, visual, music, and story, they killed it. I recommend y'all…
I paid for QIYI as it's only 99 cents a month. Also, it gets a show ratings whereas youtube free views do not. Ratings will ensure a show gets a sequel so we should all support the legal sites.

Si Won must've just gradually begun liking Da Un. It's implied by the passage of time in EP5, where they spent…
You addressed all points perfectly. And I'm glad you noted that DaUn's dream included SiWon's parents as still together. If we were ever confused about that being a dream, well, SiWon's parents together definitely makes it a dream! lol. You are also quite right in how DaWoon imagined a perfect world. While SiWon is prickly, DaWoon aspires to perfection as a good son who causes no problems for his parents (top student, nice to everyone, makes no waves). This sets their characters apart nicely.
