Is Kim supposed to be the baby brother? Because the actors playing Kinn and Porsche are in their mid to upper 20's, while this kid looks to be about 16 or 17. The actor playing Kinn graduated college in 2017, making him about 26 or 27. The MDL cast credits doesn't say when the Porsche actor graduated, so I cannot decipher his age, but he's at least 25. But that kid playing Kim cannot possibly be older than 17. It's odd, unless the character is specifically described as much younger in the novel.

Hm as far as I read he had to go to hospital because they did it multiple rounds that night and not too soft.…
TharnType also does a great job of it. After their first time Tharn asks Type to get out of bed, and Type says "hey, leave me alone, you made me sore, so let me lie down a little bit longer." It was treated as just a minor bit of soreness for a little while and that was that. No big deal. I thought it was very realistic and handled perfectly. But that woman who wrote Addicted handles it terribly in all her BL's. She's notorious for graphic anal sex scenes that just about kill the boys.

You know, that is the best explanation. If it were about going too many rounds and Kinn going at it too hard, then I can see Kinn tearing Porsche's tissue, and Porsche needing medical care.

Nevertheless, if this were written by a gay guy, it's a shame that he had a scene of a man going to the hospital after anal sex, because he should've been more aware of how it contributes to the myth that gay sex is injurious. I mean, how many times have you heard some homophobic asshole make a joke about gays "getting it up the butt and tearing their ass apart."

"I can't say I liked it; women usually don't. But men do (because of their prostate gland), and that's the whole…
Agreed, it is different for everyone. You know, after falling down the rabbit hole of BL's I became so curious about gay sex that I actually began to ask a close gay friend exactly why anal sex was so different for men as for women. He explained in detail that the clinical (and explicit) answer to why they enjoy it so much is the prostate, which is very sensitive to stimulation/pressure. It is the gland that produces the fluid for the semen. The testes produce the sperm and when one has an orgasm, it all comes rushing together just before ejaculation. Hence, anal sex is super pleasurable for guys.

This is why it's so outlandish for the BL's to portray anal sex as painful. My gay friend said that a man will be sore the first time because it will be tight the first time, but that the representations I told him about that I see in BL's were simply not accurate. I know that the majority of BL's are written by women, so I am very surprised that KP was written by a gay man. Go figure.

THE PORTRAYAL OF ANAL SEX IN BL'SI'm praying that the next episode skips the part in the novel where Porsche had…
Wow, now I am even more baffled than before. I assumed it was written by a woman for 2 reasons:

(a) if you research the BL industry you will find that the vast majority of BL mangas, mahwahs, and novels are written by women, and the audience is nearly all women.

(b) why the hell would a gay man represent anal sex as something requiring hospitalization? This is precisely the sort of thing that homophobes say when they make fun of gay men. They say that gay men ram it up the butt and tear apart their asses. Homophobes always make jokes about how much "butt sex" must hurt and this is part of their fear of gay men. Thus, that hospital scene contributes to the myth. I just don't get why a gay man would want to contribute to a homophobic myth. I am truly baffled.

At any rate, I doubt that the hospital scene will be in the show. So far, the show has been superior to the novel. A lot of movies and shows are superior to their source material and this is a great example of that.

I'm googling for the author's identity right now and there's nothing on it. I just keep coming up with "writing duo DAEMI." But there is no personal info beyond that???? It seems to be a ghost name for an author who does not want to be identified. But I'll keep looking.

No way would a gay man have written that. Are you sure? I simply do not buy that a gay man would say that anal sex resulted in a hospital visit. It simply does not compute. Because anal sex does not require a hospital visit, and any man who has truly had it, knows this.

THE PORTRAYAL OF ANAL SEX IN BL'S

I'm praying that the next episode skips the part in the novel where Porsche had to actually go to the freaking hospital after having anal sex in the scene we all just saw. And now allow me to vent, because I am appalled at how many BL's portray gay sex as something so negative that it causes injury.

In the novel "Addicted" Bay Lu Yin needed to stay in bed for a week after anal sex and have a Dr. visit every day. The same for when Gu Ha had anal sex. In the show "Lovely Writer" the bottom was so injured that his lover had to pick him up the next morning to carry him to the bathroom. In the show "Make it Right" Book was so injured that Frame had to take him to the Dr. the next morning.

I could go on, but suffice it to say that the women who write BL's consistently portray gay sex as something injurious -- which is to say, something negative. These authors do not realize it, but they are inadvertently portraying gay sex in a homophobic capacity. I mean, come on, they are saying gay sex causes injury, which is tantamount to saying it is negative.

Well, I am a woman who has had anal sex and I can tell you that it only hurts a little going in the first time, and then it's a tad sore the next morning for a couple of hours. I went to work and was just fine. I can't say I liked it; women usually don't. But men do (because of their prostate gland), and that's the whole point. Gay men like anal sex and would not be having it if it injured them the way these BL's say it does. Frankly, I think there should be a rule that women cannot write a BL unless they have had anal sex themselves.

I know you are all fans of BL's, so can you tell me, has anyone else here been troubled by how anal sex is portrayed? Specifically, was anyone else troubled by how Porsche had to go to the freaking HOSPITAL after anal sex in the novel K/P??? I know I can't be the only one.

There are lots of movies that are better than the book. A classic example is The Godfather. The book was this trashy, pulp fiction that got terrible reviews. But the movie version is one of the greatest movies ever made and on virtually every critic's Top Ten List. So, hey, it happens. I'm not saying that the novel K/P was terrible, I'm just saying that the show is better.

Oh btw to everyone who didn't know they DID reveal what drug they used which is GHB
Yes, and GHB induces euphoria, disinhibition, and enhanced libido. But while it enhances libido, it won't make a person crazy for sex. I think that the way the show portrayed Porsche's behavior on GHB was pretty good, as it portrayed him less inhibited and with an enhanced libido, but not sex crazed the way the novel did. The novel's portrayal was waaay overdone and utterly mischaracterized the drug's effect. I mean the novel had him acting like a dog in heat. The show, however, did a good job. Frankly, I think this is one of those cases where the show is far superior to the book overall. I know it's only been 4 episodes, but so far that's been my impression. The novel was just too over the top, while the show toned things down.

KISSING AFTER PUKING

Am I the only one who gets queasy when people in movies kiss right after puking? I mean, wouldn't the taste still be there? Oh, and don't you just love how Kinn (and the show's director), used Porsche's puking as an excuse to get Porsche naked for a bath? There was no puke on Porsche's clothes. All he needed was to brush his teeth and rinse his face, not to strip down naked for a bath, lol. But hey, who's complaining? That boy's body is beautiful!

3% is a scientific statistic that every legit LGBT group recognizes. So no, the statistic is not something cis heteronormative groups throw out there randomly. It is reality. If BL's depict a world where everyone is gay as fantasy, as you say, I am fine with it. That is why I watch BL's. I was not intending to create a controversy. I was making a joke. But you are clearly looking for a controversy. You seem to be a typical Social Justice Warrior who goes out of her way to look for controversies even where none exists. I am obviously a BL fan or would not be on this page and, hence, I obviously do not mind that everyone is gay in BL's. If you want an argument please look for it with someone else. I, myself, was just kidding around.

Yes, sometimes it's genetically inclined, as with twins who are very close genetically. But it's still highly unlikely for this many people in the same family to be gay. As I said, only 3% of the human population are gay. BL's totally go overboard. But hey, we tune in for fun, so I don't mind :)

Yes, but they won't all be in the same family as they are in this show. We have Porsche and his brother Porschay. Then Kinn and his brother Kim and his cousin Vegas. That's far too many family members to be even close to realistic.
