It was a pretty gradual process for me. But if I am to pinpoint a scene where it all started, it would be in the first episode when SDYQ asked the HE to reconsider his marriage with QK because he doesn't want QK to live the rest of her life as a widow. There onwards, every little things that he did made me fall for him more, and until the scene that you mentioned. He really got me with those lines, one of the best I've seen in a romance drama, from the ML to the FL.

Is this drama romantic? --- Yes, very =)

Are there good kiss scenes? --- ....No? There are kiss scenes but almost all of them were ruined by that one lamp at the background iirc

Just my two cents on SZ's decision:

She wasn't just mad at the HE for killing off the Dongqiu clan but also on everyone else in the world for believing/ claiming that Dongqiu and the Twin Flowers were evil. Therefore, she chose to stab YT to "reactivate" Guixu to somehow "give everyone else a lesson" LOL. Although I would agree that she should have killed the HE instead for a "proper revenge".

If you are up for a lighthearted, comedic xianxia series with healthy relationships and adorable characters, YES, this is very good! As for the ending, it is kinda an open-happy one.

Guess YQ would kill the Void King but not the HE, maybe just take all his power, like what YT did.

If YQ was killed, YT might try to revenge but stopped by QK.

If CF was killed, well, I guess nothing would happen because QK might stop herself from getting revenge.

That's what everyone was saying on weibo and bilibili when the series was airing, because almost all the chaotic moments started after QK's death. Many even said that had they forced another lead to death but not QK, it would have been less chaotic after XD
