I think Ultimate Note can be watched as a standalone. There is no need to watch in order, you can start with Ultimate Note to see if you like this series imho.
Personally UN kind of spoiled the other adaptations for me because it set a high standard (my opinion ofc) and…
Haha I might give Sha Hai another try first then, since it seems to take place after UN and before Reunion. Maybe giving it some time before starting, need to give some time to convince my brain that the characters grew to how they look like in Sha Hai. Thanks for the suggestions!

I tried a few of them (TLT, Sha Hai and Reunion specifically) before watching UN actually 😅 but ended dropping all of them at around ep 3 or 4. The only one which I managed to finish is The Mystic Nine. So, I am wondering if they are worth to be picked up again (I dropped UN a few times at ep 3 before finishing it this time) or if any other adaptations are good.
It's kinda difficult to watch other actors playing the same characters of the story 🤣
Just finished it, loved it a lot! Now this is putting me in a dilemma if I should watch other adaptations, go for the audiobooks or simply read the novel (which would take me ages) 😂
It's pretty subtle, especially the part near beginning. Definitely not very fluffy
Yes! But bear in mind that this drama does have romance, it's just that it's not overly done like most Cdramas. I don't prefer too much romance in a story as well and enjoyed this drama a lot, so I definitely recommend to check it out 😄
Just curious if anyone interprets the ending as I did. This is just a random thought I had after finishing the series.
LJS did not actually managed to recreate Spirealm, instead, he is on the verge of dying again. Hence, he's in the "game" again. But everyone is still there because, outside of "Spirealm" because in the "game" world, "Spirealm" was destroyed. As for whether RLZ is still "alive" in the "game" world, idk because they didn't show us interactions between RLZ with characters other than LJS.
An overall very enjoyable series with some logic bugs here and there. The casts did a good job in delivering their characters (p.s. although I wished that HJJ did better). Definitely worth a watch!!
