I sincerely felt sorry for YBC. Like, everyone else could blame her for "causing" XL's death, but not TTJ and YXW. Yet, those two blamed it on her and TTJ even blamed what happened after that on her as well smh

Nice edit there. Basically, CXX is under probation period in his work and LLD is his superior. She then questioned how he is gonna pass his probation since he did not meet the company's KPI. CXX thought that LLD is gonna make things difficult for him because he threw LLD's bag into a river when they were kids. CXX resigned. However, LLD, instead of letting him go, she let him pass his probation.

Sadly that's the direction xianxia and wuxia genre heading to, overload of CGI for those "major"/ climax scenes. But it's still a great thing to see the CGIs are improving 😉

It's a xianxia so I expected the amount of cgi. But yea, I miss the real fighting sequences too.

Have not read the novel, but the radio-drama was much better with this scene

I felt the same, was actually laughing and questioning the script throughout the whole scene

Those misunderstandings are too over that it's funny now. As much as I enjoy watching the leads being "tortured" in the drama, I have hard time accepting that those were all because of inconsistent characters logic and lack of communications between characters. Leo's acting is great though

I personally think the recent episodes are worse than the earlier ones. The plot had me questioning why and how almost all the time when I was watching. And I don't get the chemistry between the leads as well. Funny that I even felt the chemistry between PR and TTJ but not TTJ and YXW 😂 I am still continuing because I want to see if the plot later on would answer some of my why's and how's.
