I thought this was really cute and enjoyable. I liked all the characters and their different personalities, as well as the different dynamics between the couples. Also, I really liked how funny this was. Definitely a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, because of the time limit of the episodes and the number of episodes, it did seem like things were moving super fast between the couples, especially Yuan Juncheng and Lin Xun. But overall I liked the premise of the story. I’m excited that this is getting a second season. More time is exactly what this needs to become an even better series.
Ahh I wish this was longer! Maybe just another 2 episodes.
Chris & Jeno made the cutest couple imo with Tong Fah and Paper not far behind. I loved how Paper and Tong Fah’s suit colors were inverted, and then with their helmets also. Such a pleasing sight. Paper’s speech was brilliant and then their talk on the rooftop. The little moment between Chris & Jeno on the dance floor. Near finally accepting M and apologizing to him. Arthur realizing his actions have consequences. All around a great episode.
This BL was short and mostly sweet. I’d definitely recommend watching it. My rating is 7.5/10.
Really liked this Chris & Jeno centric episode. They are so cute together and well matched. Chris is more outgoing and Jeno more reserved. They balance each other out. Their talk in the library was much needed. I’m glad Jeno decided to open up to Chris and wants to find love again, after Arthur.
Of course Paper and Tong Fah were perfect too. Tong’s acting was great. You could really feel his sadness and despair at the beginning of the episode, and then his happiness and levity towards the end. Their little talk in the hospital bed was cute.
All we need now is Near to come around to M and everything will be perfect.
Seeing as though Wind Master takes on a female form most of the time, that wouldn’t be weird. Either make or female, it would still make sense according to the story.
Wow, what an amazing series already! I feel like this surpasses anything BL that’s currently airing, even though I do understand it’s more LGBT and that’s probably the reason why. I’ve laughed, teared up, swooned. The two ML’s have great chemistry together. I feel like them being in a relationship for 6 years, having a child via surrogacy, and raising the child up til now, all while being closeted, at least to Jerry’s family is unrealistic. Although I’d say that’s the only flaw with the show so far. Other than that, what a good start to the series.
I agree... at least with Ding Cheng Xin. I saw him in Wuliang and he was amazing. I wouldn’t mind at all having him as Xie Lian or Hua Cheng. Actually I hope he is! But if not, that’s okay too. Just have to wait and see. :)
I just finished UWMA and I’m so glad Team & Win are getting a series of their own. I loved seeing little bits of them in the episodes, especially their first kiss and Team making notes about how Win likes his coffee. It was so cute! I just hope they do justice to the serious topics they will explore between Team & Win.
Well... the pacing in this episode was definitely better than the first 2 episodes. I like this couple more than Tue & Ake. I personally think they have more chemistry. Also... Nuea’s style is to die for. Those heels with that mesh crop top and fur jacket? Iconic!
I know it’s early in the year, but this is one of my favorites so far. I went in not really knowing what to expect, because I am new to kdramas, but I was really blown away. The acting, the storyline, the OST... it was all amazing. There really wasn’t a weak link in this show imo. I’m so glad to hear it’s been nominated for several awards, and some of the actors/actresses as well. When this hits Netflix, I’ll definitely be rewatching. I’m looking forward to more people discovering this show and seeing the rating rise on here.
Even though the ending was unnecessary (to say the least), this is my favorite BL/bromance drama to come out in 2021 so far. The OST was beautiful and I found myself humming to it every time I watched an episode. The acting was superb and all the actors/actresses were perfect for their roles. The plot had me engaged from the first episode to the closing seconds of the final episode. And despite the fact that I did not like the ending, the flashback montage of Chen Yuzhi and Jiang Yuelou’s relationship was fulfilling and heartbreaking at the same time. I’ll definitely be rewatching this, even if it’ll be just as painful the second time around.
R.I.P to Chen Yuzhi, Chu Ran, Fu Cheng, Song Rong, and Sun Yongren. Their characters really made the show memorable imo.
While we wait. Without giving any spoilers. Which are some side character(s) are you most looking forward to seeing…
Can’t wait to see both her and Nangong Si. Also, Xue Meng and his bickering with Mei Hanxue. And I might have a soft spot for Xue Zhengyong. I just love the personality of his character and his fan. I’m excited to see the famous fan in the drama lol.
Wait, why is Monday couple next??? Is it gonna go backwards?edit: Wait no, Sunday is next... which makes even…
I think they’ve already announced that they won’t be going in order, like Sunday-Monday? So it’ll probably continue being a random order that they’ll release them in.
The pacing was a mess. They went from hating each other to liking each other in the blink of an eye lol I didn't…
I agree with your comment about pacing. It really did feel disjointed and it threw me off. I hope the other episodes aren’t like this and they have a better flow to them. Also IMO... could have done without the thumb on the lips kiss/not kiss. I mean what was that? ?
I love this already? It’s super funny and extra. Plus it definitely has that lighthearted element, which I think goes very well with the humor. Can’t wait to see what else they throw our way.
