Reading the novel and realllly not sure. Lu Jia Xue never wrongs her, loves her truly and shes completely cold to him even though they used to be in love. Also, the writer likes to justify non-consent with phrases like “he’s a man” and “any man will not be able to control themselves” 😬😬 also the ML in the book has her followed and under surveillance 24/7. Shame as its otherwise a really good story. Just really twisted ideals.

Yeah thats y i prefer the novel ending. I understand ML dying for his cause but her ending didn’t have to be so sad. In the book her and CL are close like sister brother and they form a family in the end even if it’s not romantic

Reasons for doing wrong don’t absolve you of your actions. A relationship has lots of ups and downs and tension in a lifetime and being able to overcome challenges is the test, whatever his reasons for changing in their marriage it just means they weren’t suited for each other and could not overcome their issues. Sometimes people marry in love with dreams of how things will get better and better and then you wake up one day and realise this is it. Not justifying her behaviour but until you have struggled you don’t know how hard it is and I guess life turned out different to what she wanted. Still no excuse to abuse the husband, think shes just tired and fed up of everything being so hard.

For those of you melting at the scenes in ep17, in the Princess Agent novel XingYue actually do spend the new year together after they reunite so you can just imagine this episode is also XingYue reunited and together😊

Loved it all the way until the ending but it just doesn't make sense. The daughter was assaulted, but didn’t get off at the next bus stop but the girl who took the picture did? The assaulted girl then waits until the bridge to go crazy and demand to be let off when she could have gotten off at the last stop or just walked away from the man and gone to another part of the bus and waited for the next stop. They could have written that bit better. An argument with a bf might have made more sense.

For those of you disappointed by the ending, do you remember her telling her publisher she has to change a few things before handing in her work? I think she added something that brought the ML into her world, could be wishful thinking but I thought i saw a knowing smile after she signed the book for him.
