When the cooling period ends bro made plan out of nowhere to delay so he gave excuse the he is abroad but FL isn't…
It’s not all of a sudden. He wouldn’t have done all those things for her and if he didn’t love her, he was just smug thinking she would never leave him as he thought she was in it for the benefits. Even when she confronts him and he lists his reasons he’s sort of listing reasons he loves her. He misunderstood what she wanted out of their relationship and didn’t even consider she would leave him.
I have seen a few cdramas where the parents end up being pretty rotten ppl and tyhey don't redeem them I hope…
In the book its more complicated. They wanted to abort her as having a second child was breaking the law but her mum had a heart condition which meant no hospital was willing to abort for them. Her dad then lost his job as a teacher because they broke the law and everything went downhill from there. Not excusing how they treat her though.
Yeah but they throw in a whole load of villanry, in the novel it’s just peaceful and sweetness and they both have a time of contentment. There’s none of the thinking hes the enemy either, she actually overhears the Shi guy saying she’s SJ’s other half so the tone is completely different. I get its for TV though
The SiMa clan are all destined to die due to their superior bloodline and absorbing 2 fires sped up his death so he spent his last days peacefully with her, he didn’t tell her he was dying. He conquered and killed all their enemies and set her up for life as demon ruler. Before he died he transferred his power, blood and fire (which he tamed) to her. O and in the novel MuYu and her master and fellow colleagues are real, he sets them up nicely and they become her mother home. All very sweet as he accepted his death. She then saves his soul hurting herself and reincarnates him.
okay is this really that good? any fellow seasoned xianxia watchers would comment please?
It does steal some troupes from fairy and devil, and also TTEOTM and a line from scarlet heart (but they all steal a bit from each other now) but 6 episodes in and it’s very good, chemistry is spot on :)
