Fun, heartfelt, and catchy — with a few things I wish had been different
True Beauty quickly became a favorite for me — the music especially was stuck in my head for days! I really enjoyed the acting and the storyline overall. It’s funny, charming, and filled with moments that make you fall for the characters. But be aware, as comedic as it might be, you may shed a tear or two. Or many.The only downside for me was the ending for one of the characters (no spoilers!), which left me wishing things had gone differently. And while the show does center around comedy, I think it missed an opportunity to show a healthier, more realistic way of dealing with bullying — like reaching out for professional help, not just relying on friends. Still, it’s a fun and memorable drama that I definitely recommend.

I’m still sad that the first version of Kim Mo-mi was played by an actress I really liked, yet she hasn’t appeared in much else afterward. It’s honestly frustrating, because her performance was strong and memorable, and seeing her disappear from the spotlight feels unfair.
Interestingly, the show has very little music, but that never bothered me. I only realized it afterward, because the tension, characters, and wild plot were enough to pull me through without it. “Mask Girl” is definitely not a calm viewing experience — it’s messy, unpredictable, emotional, and bold. Maybe even slightly gorey some times.
If you’re looking for something intense, unique, and a bit unhinged, this is the drama for you.

Good, but sending an odd message
The Glory is a gripping drama that kept me watching from episode to episode. I really liked the overall story and found myself hooked on how the plot unfolded. However, the show presents a very intense and somewhat unusual approach to dealing with bullying. While the protagonist’s journey for revenge is emotionally strong, it sometimes felt like she had help a little too easily, with several people supporting her despite not having a very convincing reason to do so.The cast did a great job, and the acting felt genuine and impactful. The music wasn’t really my style, though it didn’t take away from the experience either. Overall, it’s a compelling drama with a strong storyline, even if some parts feel a bit stretched or dramatic. If you like emotional thrillers and revenge plots, this is definitely worth watching.

Long ago...
Love Rain is one of those dramas that stays with you long after you’ve watched it. I first saw it when it was released in 2012, and I still think about it whenever the topic of K-dramas comes up. It left a huge impression on me—even to the point that I stayed up all night to finish it.The drama delivers big emotions, and I absolutely adored the cast. Both generations—the older storyline and the modern one—were equally captivating, which surprised me at the time. Even though I was young and had no real connection to the “old” era, I was completely hooked by both stories.
It’s a beautifully nostalgic drama, full of heartfelt moments and memorable performances—definitely one of the best I’ve ever watched. And don't get me started on the music!
