I watched this last year and I'm almost done rewatching it. And honestly, I'm enjoying this much more the second time around. Don't ask me why but I think now that I know what the annoying parts are and when they are coming, there's not a ridiculous surprise that can irritate me. So I can focus on the less annoying parts that I liked.

The sister was the biggest letdown for me. The way they presented her vs. what she ended up doing? Disappointing.

Honestly, I haven’t even finished the first ep, and I'm already a little disappointed. I read the webtoon, and I remember that my thought while reading it was…this could make for a hell of a Kdrama if done well. And I already had a feeling with the cast (FL NOT included here), but this is not it.

A review mentioned it and I’ll like to underscore it. This drama reminds me so much of 2010’s romcoms is insane. it's a nice change of pace and scenery given the drama panorama the last year. I’ve read the webtoon so I’ll admit there were some things that they left out that bothered me but since they only had 12 episodes they did what they could. The chemistry between the cast and the leads carries this show. All in all, it is a nice, uncomplicated watch.

Title Vincenzo
Jang Han Seo my beloved.
Don't have a lot of thoughts on this one, the beginning is great but then it evolves into too much. Sometimes the comedy is just too silly and the story unbelievably bends to Vincenzo’s will. I found myself scrolling my phone for the better part of the last 4-5 episodes. I think they spend a lot of time on scenes at the plaza that didn't add up to the general theme too. I do love that Vincenzo is an anti-hero that's not afraid to get his hands dirty. You don't get to see that kind often enough, especially as a male lead. Wish we could see more of those in dramas. I think the cast’s chemistry and acting abilities are great. The charm of this show is undeniable and I get why it is so popular.

Even if I knew what I was getting myself into, it still was a heavily explicit and painful movie to watch. So do be careful and take care of yourself if you’re watching this because this is not an easy watch.

Was just watching that final scene from ep 1 and I was like: this kind of reminds me of Why her? and then BAM!!…
Oh and I don’t trust Jaemin! NOT ONE BIT!!!! I’ve seen enough of Ryu Soo Young to KNOW better.

Title Once Again
Just finished this and it was great. Skipped a lot of the market stuff though. My favorite couple was Gahee and Hyoshin. Would have loved to see more of them, especially the fam’s reaction because it was never addressed and that kind up bumped me out because I can always appreciate a noona romance especially one with such good looks from both of them. What a strong visual couple they were. The main young couple was nice at the beginning but then I kinda ended up shipping her a little bit more with her sunbae. The ending they had was cute though.

Honestly, I get that divorce is still like a huge taboo in SK but from the perspective of someone like me that lives in a country where divorce is not a bad word, and that doesn’t think badly of it, It looks petty and overly dramatic how much the mother is making her daughter’s divorce about herself rather than trying to understand how or why it happened. Again I get it’s a cultural and generational thing but yeah.

Oh I came here to read wether I was the only one who thought there were many things wrong with the aviation side of things. I’m not a pilot neither an expert but even I could tell based on my faithful subscription to Mentour Pilot that there were so many things that didn’t add up. Other than that I enjoyed this movie a lot in the first hour or so. It has an outstanding cast that goes above and beyond that wacky script so it’s a nice watch if you can turn your brain off.

Oh...wow. Just finished this and I have a lot of thoughts. Just so you know up until episode 12 I was a champion of this show and I was already thinking about the incredibly long and passionate think piece I was going to write here in favor of this drama. And then the rest of the episodes happened. What a letdown to what was otherwise an interesting take on a subject that's messy, more on the gray side, and less black and white than we might think.

This gets a lot of mixed reviews. I first watched it in 2019 and since then I’ve been rewatching it at least once a year-sometimes twice- and I have yet to tire from it. I’m currently rewatching it as I write this. Some storylines when she “changed” were better than others. I remember the 1st time I watched this I was slightly annoyed by the second couple and now I can’t remember why because I’ve grown to love them as much as the main couple. Not everything about this drama is perfect but something about the actors and their chemistry with their characters and between each other makes this work for me. The male lead is so straight-faced and medium to low voltage while the FL was full of energy and expressions with a high voltage made for a nice pairing and they had great chemistry between them. There were some things I didn't like but Seo Hyun Jin is too great here and the arc with her mother never fails to make me cry. I just fell in love with these characters -the story notwithstanding-.

I feel very conflicted about this drama. I LOVED the beginning so much! the whole mystery around the male lead was really good. When we got to the middle of it I was INVESTED. But then we got to the last like 4-5 episodes and they lost me TT the ending was so bland compared to what we started with and for some reason I lost interest almost completely by the last 3 episodes. One thing that I’ll stand by is that the male lead was so different from what we’ve seen before and I love him so much. He was literally the only reason I pushed through. ALSO I want the actor who played Gwang Nam to get a more prominent role in the near future he’s got a lot of potential. I can see him doing great things if given the chance!

I don’t usually listen to OSTs as a whole, maybe just a song or two BUT the 2nd album in my replay is this OST!! If that’s not evidence on how much emotional damage this drama caused me I don’t know what else could be. FYI I watched this drama in OCTOBER.

This was not bad though it felt like Nam JooHyuk was criminally underused (maybe because he was an unknown actor then idk). Though I was rooting for him I understand why so many people get SLS from this one. I don’t know what the writer was thinking, the love triangle was too drawn out and forced in the end, specially since the FL had already made it clear she had no feelings for the SL so why have her repeat herself in the last ep? (I’m guessing for fan service). Honestly once the whole thing with the friend that died became clear it was a little boring.

Since it’s almost end of the year I’ve been thinking about my favorites. And this one has kept a strong hold throughout the year for me. I’m a Park Hae Jin fan so I watched this because of him though I was not exactly thrilled because this is not my type of genre. NEVERTHELESS I’m glad that I’m a PHJ fan because it let me to discover this hidden gem! i really enjoyed this one I think is really good. A nice amount of heart, silliness and friendship. It did become a little messy at the end there but they managed to wrap it nicely.

You know what hurts the most? That Baek YiJin quit sports fearing that if he stayed there he would’ve hurt or let Heedo down. Only for him to end up in a department that made him so much busier and depressed that it eventually led to him hurting and letting Heedo down. Yeah it’s going to take a while to get over this one.
