Thanks very much for your reply. Re your comment about different branches of the family. I know what you are saying. Maybe the translator used 'step brother' instead of 'half brother' and I didn't question it - which I should have done.

I am only confused about why the FL's brother is stated in one episode as being her stepbrother - unless this is a mistranslation. This is why I considered whether they had used the old trope of 'siblings' with regards to the 2nd ML.

It might not make sense but it is not an assumption. That would mean that I believe it to be true - but I don't. But I am wondering about the parentage of her brother who was referred to as her stepbrother in one episode.

I don't know why, exactly - I'd have to go back to watch the episode - but is the 2 ML's mother (who disappeared) also he mother of the FL? I guess not, or novel readers would have said something.

That's okay. Don't worry about it. Other people might be raving about this drama - but I can't seem to get in to it, unlike the Double - which I have just watched for the fourth time. I shall watch it bit by bit.

I am only at episode 8 and fed up with the ML being both (seemingly) side-lined and without his martial art skills. It would not be so bad if he could do more in the shadows. How long does this go on? Anyone?

I have a question re the ML and his predicament.

You missed the end of ep. 8 , then. Of course you didn't miss much - unless you are in to poorly written, and not even funny 3-in-a-bed scenes.

It wasn't even done well. Cheap costumes, ham acting, bad script, lack of extras, loud rock music, shallow, 2-dimensional characters, four women fighting for one man... but the end of ep 8 was sleazy.

Was this intended to be some teenage boy's wet dream? After watching ep 8, I don't think that I'm that far off.

Oh dear. What can I say? Only watched more than one episode just to see how much worse it could get!
