I didn't expect the finale to make me so emotional.
I don't know how to get over it.
I miss Simok so much already.
Nevertheless, I really wish S&Y farewell dinner was much more memorable & heartwarming since their character development has been painfully lacking this season.
I wish Yeojin gave Simok a parting gift which he & we missed all through this season.
I wish we knew if Simok visited his mom before leaving.
I wish Yeojin knew how highly Simok thinks of her & about his conversation with Choi Bit.
I wish Dongjae got a chance to thank S&Y for not giving up on him.
I wish S&Y made a plan or the show gave us some kind of hint like S1 that they r going meet again soon.
I wish Yeojin shared her feelings with Simok (he shared everything with her ) instead of ignoring & avoiding his sincere questions & concerns about her the whole season.
I wish Yeojin didn't feel like she has to prove herself to anyone & went back to being a
striker ( field detective ) like she always wanted to be.
I wish they didn't waste so much screen time on Hanjo & Co futile storyline & instead gave Simok a bigger & better role to play in the beginning.
I wish the cases/plot weren't so underwhelming & the start wasn't so slow & bland esp since those council meetings turned out to be nothing but a waste of time as well.
I wish Yeojin didn't doubt Simok & trusted him as much as her shady boss but I guess that was an experience she had to go through & learn from.
I still wish Yeojin forgave Choi Bit for coming clean even if she couldn't forget.
I wish Simok didn't have to leave Yeojin & Seoul just when things were getting good between them again though I always knew it's inevitable( how i wish that's one thing the writer didn't choose to replicate)
I wish I wasn't somewhat disappointed with Yeojin but I still believe in her to come out of this better & stronger.
I wish we got few more magical moments like those on the stairways but unfortunately that too only happened cause poor Simok was in so much pain.
I wish Eunsoo smiled when she stopped to give Simok one last look (it broke my heart when Simok tried to lift his hand to make her stop).
I will still take away Simok's precious & soul-stirring smile & hold on to it until S3 though I expected so much more from this season.
I really really hope that we will get a third season even though it seems like a distant too good to be true dream where S&Y will be each other's strength & not weakness.
I also like to believe that if we are ever at a crossroads like them then we will be able to channel our inner S&Y & make the right choice even if it means choosing the most difficult path.
Take care, be happy & stay safe my fellow strangers until we meet our beloved S&Y again in a forest of secrets.

Title Stranger Season 2 Spoiler
I can't wait for the finale but I also so don't want it to end :( !!!
I can't process how they will tie up all the loose ends in one hour tom unless there's a time skip & it's rushed.
I hope they will save Hanjo ,Yeon Jae & her unseen step brother's issues for the 3rd season!
Also the mystery behind the care package Yoon Se Won received at the prison unless it was from Simok of course.
Tbh I only want S3 cause of S&Y as i still feel like that we hardly saw them together this season!
I know my bad that I just can't seem to accept or get over it!

Anyways, I think Simok will convince Choi Bit to do the right thing by coming clean & also protect Yeojin as they both know how much she looks up to her & is devastated after learning the truth.
i wished she looked up to Simok instead!
Simok will most probably also try his best to make sure Yeojin is back to being a field detective & herself again.
He better not end up being the unsung hero again though with nothing to show for it!
I just hope & wish that he won't let anyone put him inside a drawer again in a far away place ....away from the only person he's able to share his feelings with.

I know this won't be a popular post but i would still like to express my views on the subject. I also apologize in advance if this post ends up being too long!

I have seen many posts everywhere where people are treating Dongjae like a tragic hero!
Is he really? They r saying how he never had an option but to become corrupted cause of the system.
But have people forgotten how he physically assaulted Yeojin & almost choked Eunsoo to death?
How he tried to frame an innocent orphan young man for a murder?
How he hid a piece of evidence for his own gain & then blamed it on his trainee ( Simok) by claiming he's mentally unstable?
How he bought property & cars under his nephew's name with bribery money?
It seems everyone has also forgotten that the only reason he didn't go to prison on some serious charges & lost his job was only cause of Simok's kindness.
Something he didn't even acknowledge or appreciate when he saw him this season.
Just because he's doing his job well for once & was kidnapped are we suppose to forget everything & wish he gets everything on a silver spoon from now?
Also some people are saying how sad it's that he's doing his job so diligently but still has to live away from his family because he has no connections.
Is he the only one? It seems to me almost all the prosecutors are suppose to transfer to another office every 2 years & also travel a lot.
I also like to mention that the only reason he brought these cases to Tae Ha & was so interested in them was because he wanted a promotion & work at the supreme office.
I do like Dongjae & his few scenes with Simok & the one with Yeojin were some of my fav this season but I won't root for him just yet.
It just seems to me that a lot people are turning a blind eye to everything he has done in the past & treating him like a lost soul who deserves the world just cause he happens to be very handsome & charming.

Title Stranger Season 2 Spoiler
yes, it is about bullying, corruption, keeping silence and even hurt the person who tries to face their wrongdoings.…
I think I am aware what Stranger is about at the end of the day.
What I meant was that the segok case ,drowning case & the kidnapping case all happened cause of bullying.
Even Yeojin colleagues ( the 2 losers from HQ) bullied her in a way.
In the last couple of episodes the prosecution will try to bully Yeojin or someone else from the police.
We still don’t know the secret of the dead prosecutor so who knows.
Anyways my point being was that the bullying theme was a bigger hidden issue
all through this season then we were led to believe.

yes, it is about bullying, corruption, keeping silence and even hurt the person who tries to face their wrongdoings.…
We have always known this season is about politics, corruption, investigative rights & of course the important theme that anyone who chooses to remain silent is an accomplice.
But i meant the bullying part was hidden with fog until the end.

Title Stranger Season 2 Spoiler
Is the Segok case really over?
If it is really a suicide case then why did we waste so much time & effort on it?
What was all that about?
So, the evidence they found & stored from under the victim’s nails is just a red herring & nothing concrete?
It was just another case of bullying gone horribly wrong?
I am guessing then the secret hidden theme of this season was always about the devastating
consequences of “ bullying”.

Prayer circle that Cho Seungwoo will casually mention (again) when he wins another Baeksang Award for this season…
I really want him to win but I don't think this time he's a sure shot winner like last time. He's the best but unfortunately this season he didn't get the opportunity to showcase his comprehensive acting prowess. He was hardly in action in the beginning...such a waste of his talent!
I still can't process why they made such a blunder but still fingers & toes crossed as I really really want S3!
On Stranger Season 2 Sep 30, 2020
I will be honest & admit that I still have a love/disappointing relationship with S2.
I feel like the first half should have been much more thrilling/interesting & Simok not having much of a role to play in the beginning was a debacle.
I will also never get over S&Y having so less screen time together & character development this season.
Lil things like Yeojin not defending Simok even as a person when Choi Bit says she can't trust him, not bothering to ask Simok even once where/how he's living or even noticing when he's bleeding pains me but I know I am in the minority.
Nevertheless words can't express how sad I am to have to say bye this weekend.
I am going to miss them (esp Simok obviously) 3000.
I don't know what I am gonna do if there's no S3.
I really hope & wish that the ending does justice to S&Y friendship/bond which in my opinion has always been the heart & soul of Stranger.

I sincerely hope Simok's hidden talent is able to draw like an artist!
On a more serious note Simok remembering & missing Eunsoo on the 13th epi of this season was heartbreaking... Rest in peace our 3rd troublemaker prosecutor.
Fingers crossed S & Y will find the 2nd one battered but alive today!
On Stranger Season 2 Sep 24, 2020
I think Woo Tae Ha & Choi Bit were best friends or very close but became estranged cause of their opposing jobs.
They chose ambitions over their relationship & morals to climb up the ranks asap.
They are mainly guilty of keeping secrets & staying silent to protect their higher-ups...thus making them accomplices.
This's gonna parallel with Simok & Yeojin's relationship & positions.
They won't lose themselves (esp Yeojin) or compromise with their friendship or jobs to reach the top the easy way.
They will never stay quiet & always do what's morally right in their fight for justice even if it means always taking the longer & difficult path for a better tom.

anyone else noticed that only yeojin saw his whole smile?
that stupid staircase railing & the camera zooming out at the exact moment stopped us from seeing his once in a blue moon pretty smile completely.
i am sure it was intentional as they want to starve us until the finale!
i still hope that we will get few more magical moments like that before the finale though seems very unlikely with so much still left to uncover & so less time.

Title Stranger Season 2 Spoiler
Is Seo Dong Jae dead? That seen where the kidnapper takes off the eyes and mouth cover and checks to see if he's…
He's not dead... don't worry as i don't think simok & yeojin's sincere efforts will go to waste...the kidnapper would have killed him by now if that was the plan.
Replying to idontevenknow Sep 20, 2020
I legit teared up a bit on the staircase scene between Shimok and Yeojin during episode 12. Those two chilling…
the feeling is mutual.

I am really worried for Yeo Jin. I feel like the pressure is getting to her and she is about to crack.
yeojin tbh kinda needs a reality check..
don't worry though as simok will be there to catch her even if she falls.
Replying to Ockanna Sep 20, 2020
Just bring Seo Dongjae on screen again asap!!! This is frustating how the story is wrapped up.. I did not think…
unfortunately i think he's meant to be an extended special support/guest role this season..
i was surprised when his name didn't appeared solo after bae doona's on this season's opening credits like in s1!
i guess now we know why..
i don't think we will him in action again before the last week!
Replying to DramaWanderer Sep 20, 2020
It’s understanding to feel frustrated when the new season didn’t live up to our expectations especially when…
I do appreciate the fact that I got to see simok & yeojin again but I just don’t think S2 did justice to 2 of my beloved characters.
I am just having a hard time trying to connect with this bland season.
the warmth & charm of s1 is sorely lacking this season... esp yeojin seems like a different person.
i expected a meaningful but still fun & exciting ride with besties simok & yeojin...
I guess my expectations were too high ):
Still I really hope more than anything that we ( simok & yeojin too) all get the ending we deserves at least.
On Stranger Season 2 Sep 20, 2020
tbh episode 11 was a colossal waste of time...
personally i am just not feeling this season ...
it's so frustrating how much time they wasted doing useless investigations this season!
it seems the only important case is that of the dead prosecutor as all the big players r involved.
all the currently airing shows rating keeps increasing every week but S2 still haven't been able to beat it premiere's epi rating even after 11 epis which kinda proves it's not really a hit.
maybe in the last few epis we will see more of simok & yeojin (about time yeojin trusts him again more than anyone ) & some much needed character development at last but is it enough?
even if the last few epis really good isn't it still too lil too late?
i don't know why it feels like that the scriptwriter wrote this season for herself & not the fans.
we deserved better & so did cho seung woo after that award winning performing he gave last season.
i know many here will disagree with me & i respect that but personally it's very disappointing for me.
Replying to Yolande Sep 18, 2020
lol but I must say I do enjoy the fact that they are not together yet. And I have to say it is quite odd for me…
i didn't meant as a couple!
I just want to see on the screen that they r still best friends & care about each other!
it seems this season yeojin suddenly cares more her shady boss that simok!
until now we haven't seen anything this season that shows their bond is really special & unique!
i just want them to work together, share theories while having meals together, exchange a gift or 2 & of course a smile.. though i prefer more than one but this season is almost over :(
just some meaningful character development like s1... is that too much to ask?
Replying to Maira10 Sep 17, 2020
dongjae is older than simok & was the senior prosecutor in s1. in s2 though simok most probably outranks him as…
on tvN characters guide it says dongjae is 44 & simok is 37! dongjae's wife is 40 & yeojin is 32!
it's kinda ironic that yeojin is the youngest when in real life bae doona is the oldest among these 4!
