dongjae is older than simok & was the senior prosecutor in s1. in s2 though simok most probably outranks him as dongjae is aiming for simok's current position.

there's no romance & unfortunately season 1 beautiful chemistry between the leads is missing as well this season. watch season 1 if u haven't yet.

Epi 10 was solid but I am really going to lose my cool if we don't see Simok & Yeojin working together & sharing some heartfelt moments next week!
I really don't understand what S2 is trying to prove or achieve by keeping it charismatic leads apart for 10 epis!
If this season is all work & no play then how's it suppose to entertain all the viewers?

i miss simok's S1 caring assistants (officers)...esp the female one who used to remind our workaholic simok to eat.

it's not about proving anything ... even if it was true ( which it isn't ) but still in this day & age u should know better than to make a sexist remark like that ..it says more about u than anything ...u said so yourself that u knew this comment will get a reaction like this but u still chose to anyways..

S2 isn't lacking plotwise though the start was lil slow. it's lacking when it comes to character development of the leads & them basically having nothing important to do at the start... i think a lot of people were disappointed cause they were expecting to see a lot more of simok & yeojin( not necessary
together) on screen & less of police, prosecution & hanjo issues in the beginning..i don't think a drama really needs to ignore it leads to develop other characters & plot..s2 biggest flaw at the start was not giving enough importance to the one thing most fans were looking forward to for years ... hence the complaints & lower rating....8.7 for now though is fair as the last few epis were really good...& if we see some special simok & yeojin moments like in S1 & all the cases coming together brilliantly in the second half then the rating will go up ..deserving so.

i so hope yeojin treats him to a late lunch cause this time he missed it for her call!
though knowing their dynamics until now this season i am pro being very wishful :(

that's cause S1 been rated by almost 10k people compare to just over 400 here. stranger s1 rating was 9 even a lil while back. anyways more people going to watch it in the future & the numbers of raters going to keep increasing so it's going to even out depending how good the second part is....so for now 8.7 is fair.

there's no need to lower it as it's more than fair... if S2 first part was as good as S1 then the rating would have easily been over 9.

it actually gets really interesting after the 3rd epi & the leads r best thing about this show! i would strongly suggest u to watch 2-3 more epis & if u still aren't hooked then drop it.

i wonder if the culprit is the friend of the drowning victims & he's getting back at both prosecution & police for not getting justice for his 2 friends though this theory pro lil farfetched.
can't believe we already passed the halfway mark .. seems like the main story just started! i am lil disappointed though that even after 8 episodes we still haven't seen simok & yeojin enjoying a meal together or a smile from simok!
i guess this season's serious storyline won't be able to give us more than crumbs when it comes to simok & yeojin :(
at this rate i really hope there's season 3 one day! of course still enjoying s2 a lot now & can't wait for the 2nd part of this season!

i really hope dongjae is ok as the poor guy was probably kidnapped & getting beaten up for something the high-ups messed up.
i think since the culprit didn't killed
dongjae right away he/she is most likely planning to use him as a pawn in a very dangerous game..i wonder if simok's the main target....anyways can't wait to find out!
i need more simok & yeojin scenes! preferably a meal together like the old times!

so why was dongjae kidnapped ?

i think it's because of that blue case file. the case of that dead prosecutor is connected to a lot of high-ups....hanjo , police & maybe even the prosecution....dongjae kept that file in the drawer of his office so simok & yeojin needs to find it asap for a lead! who knows how long dongjae has!

i would suggest everyone planning to drop it is to watch until epi 8 at least... if it's still not up to ur liking then drop it.

Get ready peeps cause i have a feeling Stranger is finally back! & so r Simok & Yeojin to take us on an exciting ride! Better late than never!

poor DongJae! seems like we r going to see his
wife at last! so excited to see them work together & hopefully find him safe & sound...i wonder if this is the core case or just the beginning.

Simok noticing Yeojin doesn't draw like before was the highlight for me.. so freaking cute! i can't wait for her to give him his first gift this season.
