On All about My Mom Feb 14, 2016
I just finished watching this drama and I have to say it's one of my favorite dramas so far. It teaches us a lot about family and how precious it is. The cast is spectacular. I started it as a fan of Choi Tae Joon, but I came to love all the characters!

I gave it a clear 10! I'm going to miss this show. <3

I dropped this drama at ep 3, does it get better?
No, it gets worse. But I am a fan of Hyun Woo so here I am...still watching...suffering through bad acting, poor script, and miserable CG. That's how I feel.

If someone ever hesitates on watching this drama due to it having 50 episodes...don't. Just start watching it! One of the best dramas I have ever watched and I never say that before a drama ends. I am so smitten with the character Lee Bang Ji. Despite his character's nature, I loved Byun Yo Han in Misaeng and now I think he really got a chance to shine! ^^

Person Byun Yo Han
It's like he was born to play Lee Bang Ji in Six Flying Dragons! I wish he'd get a lot more screen time. I keep replaying the beginning of episode 18 when he calls out: "Oi! Lee In Gyeom Takkari!" So cool!

Anyone watched Ryu Joon Yeol live on V APP? That man sure can speak! Wow...I was blown away by his deep thoughts and his perspective on life. I loved the part where he said that he and Park Bo Gum never asked each other who the husband would be because they knew that the director's idea was to make the drama be about family and friends living and surviving together in hard times rather than who the husband is. He also gave advice to some girls who had sent him emails about not having a dream/having a dream and the losing it, and his responses were incredible. *.*

The fact that we all so deeply connected with this drama to the point where we genuinely feel betrayed by the writers just stands witness to how good this drama was. I still cannot imagine Taek as the husband and I still think that the writers chose Taek as an afterthought. Still, the last episode was amazing.

I don't mind that all the attention went to Bora nor do I mind all the gaps that were left behind mostly because I kinda gave up when I found out that Taek was the husband. Although somewhat disillusioned, I don't regret watching the drama. The acting was superb and the emotions went over the roof. The lessons it taught us will stay with us.

I just wished they could have given us one last adult reunion like in the other Reply series.

I know it may sound weird (and realistically impossible hahaha), but this drama kinda made me wish that all of us who watched it could live together in one neighborhood because after this drama most of us - if not all - would know how to appreciate the camaraderie between neighbors that our present has disabled us from having. Their neighborhood was exactly how my mom describes her neighborhood as a child. I am envious of that.

Lastly, Team JungHwan, I salute you! ^^

Since I understand Korean, that was the dialogue that broke my heart. I kicked off my blanket, threw my laptop across the bed and started stomping like a toddler. Yes, I am not proud of my actions either. JungHwan <3

Okay....so....here's the thing that really upsets me the most overall. Not because there's a huge possibility…
I honestly hoped it would be Jung Hwan as well, but I don't agree about the screen time. Jung Hwan had more screen time in the beginning, but somewhere after episode 10 Taec got more screen time. I know because I kept thinking, why doesn't Jung Hwan appear and do something?
If you ask me, I don't think the writers and the director had decided who would be the husband back in episode 2. Try as I might, I can't imagine Taec talking back to Deok Sun like they showed in the beginning of the series. Sure, you can argue couples change with years, but still... I think they changed the husband to Taec when popular opinion shifted to his side. Either way, we can ALL agree that it was a great drama to watch, regardless of who the husband turned out to be. I think the lessons we took from it are more important. We, team JungHwan will get over it...somehow ahhahahahaha

I have to say, I loved the vibe of episode 19 but...I cannot hide my disappointment. Team JungHwan, we had a nice run, but the writers and the director screwed us over. It's not like I don't like Taec. I love him! How can you not love that perfection? But he and Deok Sun feel more like a mother and son and with Jung Hwan they felt more...I don't know, feisty? hahahah What I mean, their chemistry was better from my perspective. Well, that's only my opinion. Can't wait to see the last episode. ^^

as a college student I can relate to this drama so much (but without all these hotties :'( ) p.s. PHJ is flawless
I know, right? When I started college I thought "Imagine if there are a lot of hotties, I can even fulfill my dream of being a CC (campus couple)...and then my first day of school started and I said "FUCK IT! I rather be single".

If you can do it, wait. I on the other hand am completely screwed... Till now though, the drama follows the webtoon very closely. There are changes here and there but the lines are all the same. Sad thing? Those 84 chapters on Line equal 4 episodes...I read all the chapters to find spoilers to last me for a month and they ended up lasting me for 3 days.
