OKAY LAST THING - but all that stuff about marriage equality and LGBT rights felt really manipulative. I'm always happy when shows address these issues, but they didn't really address it, they just preached it at the end to be like, "SEE?? Now you HAVE to like this show because we have a MESSAGE."

"And then they boned about it" could sum up the whole series. I usually like to CARE when characters share those moments, but this show didn't even TRY to make me care.

The wasted potential of this show actually hurts my feelings. The premise is so good! I love arranged marriage stories, and the first couple of episodes were so promising. But damn if this show didn't drag a plot point that should have been a few episodes out for an ENTIRE SERIES. And then just solve things without justification.

It became a chore to finish.

I don't think the writers cared about the relationships. It was just filler between sex scenes. And those sex / kissing scenes were so long it became uncomfortable. There's a difference between skinship and legit exploitation. :(

I'm so confused, can someone help me? I'm on episode 2, and I don't understand the relationship between Kuea's best friend and Lian's business partner. Why does the best friend always have to go home and check in with him? Are they dating? Brothers? Is he his guardian for some reason? Why is he scared of him?

Oh, interesting! And they give you the subtitles of what the lyrics mean? I'm glad they left the Korean songs in. Their voices are so good. :)

Ri Eul lost everyone he had a connection to, and now he's all alone in a world that doesn't accept him. I want to see him accepted and loved and healing from his past traumas.

I loved this. It wasn't at all what I was expecting, and I'm not mad about that at all. The way they handled the magic vs. realism was perfect.

I want a second season!! Because...

I don't know, I think being choked by a grown man was enough. She was terrible, and I wanted her to learn a lesson, too. But I do think she changed by the end. She wasn't just messing with people for fun anymore, she was legit scared.

I'm curious, if you're watching it dubbed, are you still hearing Ji Chang Wook's singing voice, or are the songs dubbed with an English singer?

For some reason I was digging the pair of them, but the story was just so bad. I think the writing had a lot to do with them being uninteresting. I saw that they have another show coming up in the future, so I hope they get a better story and better lines.

I've been watching some of OffGun's other dramas, and it's funny how Off's characters keep getting nicer.

In Puppy Honey he was a jealous, awful, controlling jerk the whole way through.
Theory of Love he starts out an asshole and turns into a redeemed love-bug.
Not Me he's a grumpy antihero who turns into a sweet marshmallow.

They should make another show together and make Off a total Nice Guy. It would fit the progression. lol

I watched the BL edit for OffGun. It's pretty funny how with each show they do together, Off's characters get nicer and nicer.

This show he was terrible (I was seriously #TeamDin there for a while).

I agree! I liked these actors together. I do think they should've come up with a different nickname, though. Or shifted it to Kit and Ming, who actually did have a height difference, haha.

I was a little surprised by how standoffish and mean Third still is to Khai. I understood why he was mean in the second half of the show because he was hurt and traumatized. But in the special episode they'd been together for over a year! Khai showed him so much love and affection and Third basically shot him down every time until the end. Seemed like a strange choice for an episode that was basically supposed to show us a happy couple.

Not a masterpiece, but a lot better than I was expecting! I came after Not Me for more OffGun. I loved the friendship with the 4 boys.

Yes, I agree with that. I really liked her, and they had a great relationship. I think at one point they even said they used to date?

I wish Gram had been interested in Black instead of Eugene. I know not everyone has to be gay in these shows, but that would have been far more interesting than the story Gram got. :( I think his romance with Eugene ruined his character.

Or, if not a crush on Black, at least a strong friendship. Maybe Gram shouldn't have had a romance at all, and just been a good friend. That would have been better than stealing his friend's girlfriend. :(

And you need to catch up to the times. You're on the wrong side of history, bud. I live in Korea and have seen people wearing shirts that say LOVE IS LOVE with a rainbow. Koreans are starting to understand there's nothing wrong with being gay. It's beautiful to witness. I wish close-minded bigoted people like you could start to understand that, too.
