The reason it would put them in danger is because when they're close, they can feel each other's pain. Like when Black was almost drowned by Todd, White almost crashed his motorcycle because he could feel it.

It's not said in the show, but I think Black left the gang so that wouldn't happen. He knows if he gets hurt, White will feel it. If he goes away, maybe their connection won't be as strong, and White won't feel it as much.

It would still happen in extreme situations, like when Black almost died. Even though he and White hadn't seen in each other in so long, White still felt it. But maybe Black thinks it would happen less if he went away.

I agree!! Black and White were so different. And the whole cast were perfect. I think First is another standout for me. He really made me love Yok.

The thing that makes me really sad is that Black felt he had to leave the gang. White said he didn't want to be in his shadow (because everyone kept saying White was better than him), but they were so different, with different strengths, that it didn't matter who was "better". I wished Black could have stayed so they could all continue together, and he and White could have a proper relationship.

But then, I guess if they did that, their connection would be even stronger, which would put them in danger. Maybe that's really what Black was thinking when he left. After all, he was always trying to protect White.

I keep thinking about this show, and...

My only complaint was the Gram / Eugene story. Barf, no thanks. I liked him so much when he was actually a good friend to Black, but then... yikes. We were supposed to root for that relationship?

But other than that, this show was perfection. The moment when they were in the back of the van about to die and they all just BROKE DOWN, that was so heartbreaking. I loved that they went there instead of making them seem tough. At the end of the day, these are young guys just trying to change the world, and they were scared to die.

Also, Yok crying at the hospital when he saw Dan, OWE MY HEART. Protect that sweet boy at all costs. I'm glad they got a happy ending, but Dan BETTER NOT HURT HIM AGAIN, I swear to god.

This show blew my expectations out of the water. I thought it would be one of the better Thai BLs, but I didn't expect it to jump to my top 3. My goodness, it was the perfect balance of story / romance / characterization.

I agree 100000000%. I was tempted to skip their parts of the show. Their relationship added nothing to the plot, and actually hurt his character. I liked him so much at the beginning! He seemed to be the only one of their gang who actually liked Black.Then in the second half he and Black barely speak other than to fight over a girl? LAME.

What's funny is that I really liked Meen a lot, but even though he followed Duen around, I never got the feeling he liked him romantically. It seemed like he was just a really nice guy who wanted a new friend, and when Duen started to like him romantically, he just sort of went with it, haha.

Maybe when they went on that overnight trip and he seemed a little jealous of Duen flirting with the girl.

Their crushes happened so fast, I had no idea why they liked each other. Cheol Soo was even annoyed by Seol Won at first, and then.... he wasn't? All because he brought him a USB?

Then near the end he says he's liked him from day one? Nuh uh, buddy, you kept telling him to leave you alone! There was zero development for the main romance, it just sort of happened. And the second couple had no point. I hope they're not trying to make a season 2 starring them.

I know others have said this, but it bears repeating - the side couple story should have been cut to give the main couple more time to develop their relationship.

In Korea abortion only became legal about 5 years ago and even then a woman needs the man's permission to get one. My guess for this storyline is that it was an unplanned pregnancy that she wasn't ready for and the man left, leaving her with a son she never wanted in a society that shuns single mothers, making her resentful.

Yeah, I think you're right. Plus, I think the actor who played Mhok is becoming popular with other projects, so he'll probably be busy.

It was sad to see Aey so alone, even if he did deserve it. Maybe I'll just make a headcanon that he learned his lesson and made it up to Mhok, haha.

Yeah, I'm not very familiar with the two as singers, so I didn't know all this, haha.

Regardless, I'm sad we won't be getting a season 2 for at least two years. I wonder if they'll even do it if they have to wait that long. Maybe they'll think the audience will lose interest.

Ah, I see, that's cool. Jae Chan just started his military service for 2 years, so it probably wouldn't be for a long time if they do decide to do it.

I agree about Light on Me. I loved how all the characters grew and changed over the course of the show. We got to see them learn about themselves and support each other. It really was lovely.

For example, we saw how Jae Young changed because of Sang Woo (more understanding and patient, more responsible), but they could have developed Sang Woo's character a bit more in relation to how he changed because of Jae Young. (Important, not FOR Jae Young, because neither of them should change for the other, but BECAUSE of Jae Young, just what the relationship helped him realize, ect.) I would have loved to see him come out of his shell and experience life a bit more.

Hopefully the popularity of this drama will encourage Korean creators to make more shows like it. I'd love to see full-length series with LGBTQ representation. I also love short ones like this that I can watch in one day, but I thought this one could have been longer.

I didn't know there was an after-credit scene in the last episode!! I just saw it on YouTube and was like, WAIT WHAT.

If you're about to watch it for the first time, don't be like me - stay until the very end. It's worth it. hahaha

Okay, I finished in two days, mostly because I skipped through the useless bits. This show would have been an 8 or 9 rating from me if it was a half hour instead of an hour. The lead couple were great! The storylines were interesting and topical, and I really liked the friendships, too. If they had focused on the story then I would've really liked it. Buuuuuuuuuuut, they obviously just threw in random scenes to make sure it was an hour.

Three minutes of Miss Becky having a romantic day in the park only to have her wake up and it was all a dream... why??? 5 minutes of the mean girls sneaking around the house?? The mom's zumba class?? WHY??? lol
