My only complaint was that it wasn't longer. I wish the last episode (and especially that ending scene) had been about thirty more minutes, to give us more details about the outcomes. (Trying to be vague so I don't spoil).
But overall I really liked this one. I have two new crushes on both the leads. :)
I liked it was funny and cute but just a little disappointed by the end
Me too. It was cute, and I would recommend it, but I was hoping for something a little more romantic at the end. Especially with all the build up about a kiss, I thought we'd get one!
Actually it was basically what was in the manga (it's only 5,5 chapters): - lost - and then on the string - wedding…
I'm also pretty sad to learn Akira died so young. If the cause isn't in the manga, I would guess it's from cancer because he smoked so much. In one scene at the bar he went through an entire pack.
Does anyone know where I can watch the movie? I can only find the series, and I'd rather watch the director's cut with the extra ten minutes of story. (I've heard only this version has a happy ending?)
So I know it has a sad ending, but can someone tell me if it has a happy middle? Does the main couple get together and have some happy moments before the sad ending? Or is it just all heartbreaking?
I know, somehow nothing makes sense in this drama. Wasn’t Jung Woo in debt at first? Apparently before he met…
I think it all had something to do with the signature dish? They both had rights to it because he made it in HER restaurant. So he didn't want to leave because then he couldn't make it anymore. And she couldn't outright fire him, because then they'd have to fight for it. Or something? It was so complicated.
Personally I wish it would’ve ended with both of them quitting and taking the entire kitchen staff with them.…
That's what I was hoping for, too! I wanted them to open their own restaurant together. Why would Jung Woo even trust Laura, knowing what she did? Why he continue to work for her? Everyone should have quit and joined Do Gun at his new place.
I'm going to make it my headcanon that he got some experience at Laura's, improved his skills, and then everyone went to Do Gun's new restaurant. :)
I'm on episode 5, and I'm glad they finally gave Yoon Ah a personality. I feel like they didn't know what to do…
Her shyness and subservient nature may have been manipulative so she and her baby could be taken care of. Like with the breast pump, etc, acting pitiful so they would help her (which is just what she had to do as a mother to make sure her baby was taken care of, no judgement).
But now she's feeling for comfortable and secure with them, so she's letting her real personality show. At least, that's what I hope, otherwise it's just bad writing, haha.

I do have a theory on this:
