I just hope they provide English subtitles and not just English CC and don’t refer to it as a “soap” or…
I couldn’t agree more!! Well said. I’ve personally called, written to or chatted with Disney+ customer service multiple times about English dubbed Korean Dramas. Fine have them, but without offering the original Korean audio with English subtitles? It’s absurd. Finally the show Moving was released in most English speaking K-Drama fans preferred format - original Korean audio with English subtitles. I simply can’t stomach the English dubbed versions. My main comment to D+ was - if you’re going to offer Korean content, then hire a decision maker that understands the K-Drama industry, even better, someone that’s a fan. Do Korean content right or get out of it altogether and let the streamers (Netflix & Viki primarily) that know what they’re doing, do it!

i am from Europe and i also don't have it on Disney+, but i found it on HITV, the app does have a lot of adds,…
I’m so happy!! I just watched the first two episodes on HITV!! And guess what? No commercials. Disney+ has them every 15 mins or so and they last a couple of mins, so this streamer is getting some high praise from me so far! I’m gonna check out what other shows I’ve not been able to watch because of Disney+s very poor handling of Korean content! I’m so glad I posted here, and for your sharing info! I never would’ve known otherwise!! Thank you so much AnnaChups! 🫶🏻

Thanks for the info. I’ll have to look into that as I want to see that show too!

Same boat, I cannot access it in Europe. Disney Plus has such a disappointing selection of kdramas. Another person…
I’ve heard I could do a VPN and choose Canada as my region, but haven’t tried yet either. I can’t believe you can’t get it in Europe either? So dumb. Disney+ has definitely got issues with how they’re handling Korean content. I’ve been able to watch a handful of dramas in the past 1.5 yrs, but some shows I want to watch only have the English dubbed versions available and I can’t even watch 5 mins of those! I told them most Kdrama fans don’t watch English dubbed because we know the actors so well and know their voices, so it’s terrible when some unknown voice is dubbed over the actual actor’s voice. The show Moving is one I’m waiting for them to make available in Korean with English subtitles. There’s a handful of them like that, so I gave Disney all the details of what needs to be done better if they really want to carry Korean content. I told them if they’re not going to do it justice, they should just get out of it and let streamers who know how to do Korean content get the rights to shows - like Viki for example. The CS agent told me my feedback would be shared. I’ll just have to wait and see unfortunately, but I did tell them if they’re not going to do Korean content justice, I’m going to cancel my subscription that I’ve had since Disney+ was made. Hope that works? 🤞🏻

I read someone said it was available only on Disney + in Asia.. maybe that’s the reason why you can’t find…
Yep, I read that too. I immediately contacted Disney CS on Friday when I realized I couldn’t watch it yet, so I hope they really do care about customer feedback like they claim they do. 🤞🏻

Yeah Park Hyung Sik looks so damn good this. Hope it'll be available in your region soon.
I did read enough comments to learn that, so I’m excited and frustrated at the same time!! Lol! But yeah, so frustrating how some streaming services are just not handling Korean content well at all. Thanks for the encouragement! I will definitely watch as soon as I can. Disney CS did tell me they will contact me directly when the licensing is approved and the show airs in my region. Not holding my breath, but hopeful that it will be sooner than later.

Why is this not available yet on Disney in the US 😭😭
I completely agree with your bafflement? I was so excited to watch this last Friday evening and searched extensively on my D+ account and it’s not there? So frustrating. I contacted customer service and gave my input on this issue and a few other Korean content issues I’m having with D+ (like only English dubbed versions available for some kdramas like Moving - ridiculous!), so I hope more viewers will contact CS too. The more people that contact Disney about Korean content, the more likely they will get their act together with Korean content. I bluntly told them, if you’re going to carry Korean content, do it justice. Hire someone that totally understands the industry and its worldwide fans and do it right. If you can’t do it right, get out of it altogether and let streamers that know what their doing get the rights to these shows. IOW - do it right or don’t do it at all!

There are SO many comments?! I’m glad so many people are able to watch it. Am I the only person in the United States that can’t watch it because Disney+ doesn’t have it available in my region yet? I was so disappointed when I went to watch it on its release date and found it’s not available to me yet?!?! Super frustrating. I did contact D+ customer service because I’ve had a number of issues building with how they are handling Korean content. I hope the feedback gets to the right decision makers, but until then I have to wait. Being a big PHS fan, it’ll be hard. I’ll have to avoid these comments until I can actually watch the drama. Hopefully Disney gets it in place asap. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I'm watching Cha Woo Min in Study Group too, and what a difference in the characters. It seems like he was in…
I’ve definitely been watching him too being both a fun guy and a total bad guy in the other and I’m very impressed with his skills to bring both to life so well. He seems to pull the emotions from the audience. I mean I hate his bad guy character because he’s so awful (acted with perfect cold heartedness!). I love that you posted this as I’ve been doing and thinking the same thing!
