i totally agree with you. i prefer s1 chemistry between yumi and woong better. babi comes off as perfect but at the same time, he seems so mysterious to me. i hope we get to see a scene where woong and his game starts blooming 😭 i really want to see woong successful. the poor man has been through a lot

even tho Woong wasn't 100% honest with yumi in the beginning, at least he wasn't easily swayed by some confession. i was always team woong but I eventually became team babi... and now I'm team "I don't know" LOL

i'm feeling the same! i love seohyun in strong/tough girl roles. i know shes portraying a captive girl who is finally seeing the world for the first time but her character comes off as annoying & too ditsy. i know she'll get have her own character development soon but man, i'm struggling to continue

I love what you wrote here. I wholeheartedly agree. I liked the original and I am liking the remake. I don't see why people should bash one over another, when they're both set in different settings & different conflicting political views. People will still complain IF this remake did went in a whole new direction but kept the heist theme.

Watched the original & is now bingeing the remake. Both are good in its own ways. One "flaw" in the remake is that the 6 eps are too short- the original had 15 episodes in the 1st season. I think, if the remake also came out with 15 episodes (instead of breaking s1 into 2 parts), we would've gotten more indepth backstory of the characters, see how the plan was planned with details, more action scenes and more character development. Nonetheless, I am still enjoying the remake. Yun Mi Seon is so pretty! I can't stop looking at her 😭
