Episode 19 was like a glimpse of how wonderful their relationship would be if it weren't for all the problems that have arisen between Luan Nian and Zhitao: him being honest with her and admitting that he missed her, them traveling together, him being affectionate and clingy with her, their respective families knowing about their relationship, and her saying out loud that he is her safe place
It was a little bittersweet.
