I have loved sharing The Early Spring with you. This drama held me captive. I loved Luan Nian. I didn't see him…
I totally agree that Luan Nian was the first to lose control of his emotions, and I really like that you also saw the good qualities in his character; he wasn't perfect, but he wasn't a bad person either. And I totally agree with you that the 1- or 2-star reviews are just ridiculous, but I guess to each their own.
Do you mean episode? I believe the last episode if I am understanding your question.
Sorry, I didn't express myself clearly in my question. What I mean is, in the first few episodes, is there a scene where Zhitao sees that encouraging message that Luan Nian wrote in her notebook without knowing that he was the one who wrote it?
I think people who are obsessed with labeling the main characters as "red flags" have lost sight of the story's main slogan: "You don't have to be perfect to be worthy of love."
I am going to watch again and slowly head over to Blossoms Through the Clouds. I don't want to get stuck in another…
Me too—I'm going to rewatch it, maybe this weekend🙂↕️ I got a little anxious every day waiting for the new episode to come out, hahaha. I don't think I'll be able to handle it in the very near future with another drama 😂
The final scene of “You Should Know” (You know what I mean) was truly the best! You can really feel the yearning, passion, and desire that have built up over all those years of separation between the two of them.
I loved that part where Luan Nian was trying to win Zhitao back: he took it slow, just as his friend had advised him. To me, it was a very sweet contrast to how their relationship had started, when everything was fast-paced, chaotic, and passionate. I think it was a clear example of mature love.
Episode 24 was the perfect example of character development, both for Luan Nian and Shang Zhitao. I think the most satisfying thing is that it’s not a perfect love story like life itself, but you can see how people are capable of breaking down the emotional barriers and fears that prevent them from giving themselves fully to love and becoming better people for the one they love.

We'll see Luan Nian and Shang Zhitao together again
You're really good at noticing details
