I think she didn't tell him because that was her way of protecting him—she knows he's impulsive and might have done something that would have gotten him into even bigger trouble
I love how Zhitao and Luan Nian’s relationship has developed. What I like most is that it’s exactly how a relationship might unfold in real life—it’s not perfect, but we can see how it’s improved from how it was at the beginning. I have to admit that at one point in this episode, I got mad at Luan Nian for getting mad at Zhitao for not telling him what happened with Donny, but I understand that part of it was the feeling of not being able to do anything to help Zhitao when things happened—and most importantly, he acknowledges this himself when he goes to apologize to her.
I really liked today's episode; the way they addressed such a serious issue as sexual harassment with the seriousness it requires was a big thumbs-up for the writer and director. I won’t deny that I cried a lot over what happened to Zhitao, and then Kitty’s confession about what that jerk Donny had done to her, and Tracy’s words to the Lime employees. And it was also great how Zhitao followed through with her complaint to the very end.
I love how confident Zhitao has become when it comes to work, not to mention the evolution of her wardrobe—the whole vibe of being a corporate woman. And how natural her relationship with Luan Nian feels now makes me breathless; when she came home after her business trip, it almost made me cry, and now I feel like I’ll suffer even more when they eventually break up.
My only complaint about the drama is how the time skips are portrayed. I'm not sure if it's due to problems with the final edit or the way the novel is written. It would have been very helpful if they had included some reference in the scene to the year and month in which the storyline takes place, or something
