For example, *Dr. Slump* was specifically about both leads being in a slump, while *Queen of Tears* having an illness storyline isn’t even the first drama this year to feature that. Childhood friends are also a very common trope, and the synopsis makes it clear that’s what this story is about. Plus, the writer behind this drama also worked on *Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha*, which had a similar tone. As for the MDL ratings, they can only go so high, especially with critics involved, so a 9.2 is still an impressive score.
