Actually, I agree in part, Season 1 was super boring but the novelty kept us going. Season 1 was also a season "without love" like this one, so yes I would say more entertaining than Season 1, but Season 2 is the winner.

I fast-forwarded parts of ep 6 and most of ep 7. JS is boring as it comes and with SM is like a choir of flatness. I really cannot feel/see the attraction between them. There is not that current that we felt in the first episode between Hwin and SM. Additionally, The producers insist on making the participants say the same thing in every single episode " Why did you choose me ? reply - you were my second choice, or I was doubting between you and so", 10 episodes of the same conversation is too much!!!SM/Hwin, Hwin/SJ, Minseon/MK all those combinations are so watchable, Minseon is such a sound man, he can talk and engage with anybody. MK is a quirky king, he comes with the most random comments. SJ is a whole bubble bath, Hwin is full of passion and gets so excited about things, this is infection and despite development to the contrary SM comes alive when he is surrounded by these people, as soon as JS appears his face/mood changes.

You have good ideas here. I was going to say that he has points of attraction that escape to us who are not from Korea. The job is something that I mentioned before concerning SJ who is a dancer and somebody took it so badly!? In this franchise, dancers, have not done well. Nothing wrong with being a dancer! but being the youngest in this profession is not a plus for him.

I would like to comment that Korean men in general don't have a toxic masculinity and signs of physical affection are common among the younger generations, but is even more evident among gay men. There are quite a few Korean bloggers that speak about this. So don't read this affection as being manipulative. We are missing the cultural context here. Having said that well I start this series liking all of them very much but now I only like 4 of them very much: MK, Minseon, SJ and Hwin, but the other ones are OK as well, I mean I really never like YJ attitude from the beginning and even less when MK appeared but he is not bad either. H, his ring partner, I never find it attractive but he looks like a really decent caring guy. J and SM don't make any sense to me but there are just silly rather than malicious. Some people here are wrongly accusing them of being evil, come on! Some men never grow up, that's all.

I don't think Shun is very conscious of what is doing. I think he is just fighting himself and people who do that tend to be very self centre while they are having this agonizing inner turmoil.

This BL is so enjoyable, and the CP is lovely. On the no-so-good side, the make-up and wardrobe departments were not up to standard and can be distracting. The make-up is like on a pantomime and the wardrobe is like layers of hotel bath robes put together. The worst is that Xiao Bao's necklace, it is such a cheap piece that sounds like a Swiss cowbell! I also like his bodyguards; they are a really funny couple. So a lot of good points in terms of chemistry and performances but the cheaper production is quite noticeable.

Dai did not go for him, Dai is a free spirit, outgoing, playful. He is a joy to watch. Shun is lovely too but have trust issues due to his traumatic past. Neither of them are right or wrong. They are responding from their own personality traits. I think Dai acted in a very healthy way when somebody he had a crush for rejected him so he continues his life as everybody should do in the same situation! The ball is in Shun side, he has to make his mind as what to do with the freedom he has been given.

I am totally not. Do you remember the night they went to see the dancers? Kazuto was totally into it, it was really his vibe. He even knew Usak, maybe not personally but certainly he has seen his act many times before. He said it in the series.

To be honest, I have not seen anything of the sort, but Usak and Kazuto have 18+ social media content. In the case of Usak is pretty obvious, this is his line of business. In any case it is their personal choice. The men in the house are pretty free spirit. This is my impression and I found it really refreshing.

They probably thought about how the benefits outweigh the risks. Most of them have had a strong presence on social media with already YouTube channels, I dare to say a bit on the 18+ side and they promote them. We know an influencer can earn quite a few pennies (cash).
