I tried with Shooting Stars but I don't like her acting, there are such great Korean leading ladies so I prefer to watch other dramas. You probably are watching these but allow me to mention this fab dramas currently showing: The Story of Park Marriage contract, My demon and My man is a cupid are a total treat. Highly recommend them . Those are great CP casting, amazing chemistry between the leads.

Yes! agree. The flashback in the least ep (13) when she was sleeping in the car was frankly so redundant, I even fast-forwarded it!? Do we need to see this scene for the 12th time??? CP chemistry, as we said, it was touching in the beginning. Young Dae has not been the luckiest re: CP casting. I did not watch Shooting Star because the pairing was uninspiring and I got a bunch of friends who thought the same. He had better luck in Forbidden Marriage but she (his CP) is a great leading actor so he had that support there.

Thank you for your comment, I was going to write a similar review as you, what happened to that fascinating beginning?, it simply went down the hill halfway through. Agree, the CP chemistry in the Joseon era was riveting and it kind existed still in the modern era but in the last eps has fizzled. The fish kisses are frustrating, where is the 1500 yrs passion? Young Dae can be a good kisser, we saw it in the Forbidden Marriage, so what happened here? Is it his CP? idk normally these are production decisions. As I only watched the drama for Young Dae, who is a fine actor and has still managed to do a good job here, I don't regret to have watched this drama until the end.

I am watching this for Kim Young Dae, who is a super actor. The Joseon (historical) story line is really good, with YD shinning in the cruel war scenes and his torture persona. It remain interesting and intriguing. Ye Jin doing a sound performance in the "old times", but the story line in the modern time is not at the same level, Ye Jin and older brother characters are so unconvincing and at moment properly stupid. I agree with @Casava here in a previous post. YD has done 3 character in this drama and in my opinion he delivers in all three. I still recommend people to watch this drama, it is not perfect but much better than others this year.
