Please don't go to the other extreme. 90% of MDL forums are like that. Mainstream Chinese pages and K dramas are the same or worst. Here have been the pseudo moralistic and some crazy RL irrational fans that have been giving grief, but believe me they have tried to attacks other BLs pages too. I don't go to RL page to insult anybody despite that I dropped it in the 5 ep and I didn't tthink the actors were great either. I am a critical thinker and have enjoyed this series but it is frustrating that this story could have been given to a proper professional team and make it much better. I am not a fan of Desire4 I appreciate individuals qualities and what every actor is bringing to the table. Lumping people like this it is not good for the professionals development of the artists, and doesn't interest me at all.

I got mad at the bosses not at Kipuka. He is an employee. Crazy and hateful fans, I have done posts about these terrible people in China. They have even made UK news. However, if you are in Chinese social media you know that a cross the board, including "good fans" criticised the Nong lady and particularly that live.

I respect your opinion, but social media was taken over by this issue and the live, that should have been cancelled, intended to stir sympathy towards Kipuka, not to protect Kipuka but to deflect the company responsibility. Kipuka is a trained actor, but here he was visible upset not making an effort to change his attitude for Elliot. Trained actors performed as joyful characters even when they are bereaved. Im sure he could have done it but i suspect he was instructed not to do so. Elliot have been performing in these lives while receiving an incredible amount of hate. When have you seen him like that?

I'm going to add something that has really aggravated me: to use the little child performing as Peanut to generate sympathy. This is so low. He is a small child!!! He probably is only capable to say his name "my daddy Kipuka and more freaking phrases In the post, and some of you finding it touching. Get real people.
Another thing is this scandal has totally robbed Elliot for his moment in the spotlight. He worked his loins off for that performance and everything was about poor Kipuka this, poor Kipuka that. Honestly. 🙄

hating fans (those who followed actors to insult them) followed the guys car after the performance and caused havoc to the schedule. The Nong woman recorded them coming out of the car and Kipuka referred to "hating fans" cause problem. She shared the stupid video -cause she shared everything that can "sell" but blurring Kipuka word. He said nothing wrong but created the impression that he was insulting all fans and the haters went for him.

I held Sister Nong responsible for part of what happened. This is why the Chinese gov don't want to support celebrities. They say in order to maximise profit they are the first one in create scandal. Then they expect the gov to intervene. It is quite a hardline approach but I think they have a point. She even has used a child/almost a baby (peanut actor) to provoke sympathy for Kipuka . How low people can go to exhonerate themselves from their own actions.
