DZA was dying as consequence of his elite assassin training. They all die at their prime. SH was under house arrest…
DZA was an elite assassin. During training they gave them toxic substances to perform above their capabilities. As years pass, their internal organs started to fail. ShuHe lied to him that he was going to fake his death to escape. But in fact he drank proper poison and died instantly in DZA arms. DZA died shortly after this. The grieve accelerated his illness. Xu, the actor performing as DZA believes DZA died in the same scene.

One was going to die anyway. DZA. The other ShuHe who was imprisoned is the one who committed suicide. DZA would have not want for his life ShuHe to die. His main motivation in life was to prevent ShuHe for being killed he wanted ShuHe to survive at all cost.
Maybe because assult scene was in dark setting & mating was in light one, btw I've seen a reel on IG in which…
Have you seen Chinese mainstream dramas? The MLs take their tops off almost in every scene. Kipuka was joking! Plenty of hunks in Chinese social media showing us their abs for free.
Addressing the elephant in the room: why the assault scene was sexier than the mating one? In that scene kipuka is half naked Elliot has an open robe and was seating on top of Kipuka. I hate moralistic views regarding this fictional production. I enjoy the whole idea as fiction, but there is something wrong in Sister Nong aesthetics, to say the least, to shovel us a sexy assault scene and a boring mutual desire consummation one. In the novel, they are both burning in lust in this scene... So tell me exactly what elements represented that...honestly ๐
I thought of it as they were impatient so they only stripped waist down ๐๐
The assault scene was sexier that the actual mating one!? Honestly. you know I support the series and hate moralistic views but this a pathetic contradiction.
I mean it's chinese so they can't do much. It's better to not expect too much and you won't get disappointed.…
Nobody need to eat the other person. This is about selling a scene in a compelling way. I can quote lots of chinese mainstream dramas, that had to pass the censorship agency, which these BLs do not, with really sound sex scenes. Bts are part of fan service. The actors know they are being recorded. Kill to Love does not have bts of kissing. The two CP actors from the best Chinese performing academies, read the script got it and delivered the best kissing scene i have ever watched in a Chinese drama of any kind (and yes, tongues included)
you'd expect the NC scene after the marking to be clothes ripping and headboard shattering and whatnot ... but...…
I share your dissapointment. It is a poor excuse to say this is Chinese BL. First of all there is no censorship agency intervening, even mainstream Chinese dramas have compeling sex scenes. It is simple lack of imaginative direction.
