TXW new Life begins is my favourite from her. Generation to generation I watched but I wouldn't recommend it. Blossom is great. The best thing with ZLH the role suit him, his CP was beautiful but maybe the storyline is not exciting enough for some people. I am going to check the rest. I am watching How are you? It is good.

As CP? I support that! It would be such cute and hilarious couple! Apart from that I would like to see him in lead roles or second lead on his own. TXW is already a leading actress, she will keep growing.

So far the only real evidence happened here in POJ with one of the actors that his face was altered by AI but there is not statement saying it was because he is in a BL. I know those who were hirable are still working in mainstream series. I can say their names. We have to remember some of these actors accepted a BL because they didn't break in the industry.

Looks is up to the director. ZLH look spellbinding here but it was up to the production team and all the filters in post production! Other directors are more realistic e.g the last film of Xiao Zhan about the Japanese invasion during the war they roughed him up to fit the role. The worrying is limiting creative spaces won't enhance the storylines but restrict them even more. In China they are masters of dramas. The proof is when they took the BL genre abroad to avoid censorship they created really good productions.

It does suffer a slump for sure and it was hard going from ep 30 but this is how it goes with Chinese dramas. So for me was within what I was expecting. still a great series overall. What is true is that the new fans of ZLH and TXW are really irritating and bring here all the drama of social media. Every series of ZLH the critics are the same: too handsome not good actor. He does take it in the chin every time too. I follow the leads career from their first series. In this series they have great roles but TXW is the best comedian and her role in New Life begins was hilarious. So I actually do prefer that role for her.

In Douban vote Chinese audiences and they have a different taste that international audience. For instance Born to be Alive is 8.5 but here it only reached 7.5. Swords into Plowshares is more coincidental, almost same rating here 8.2 in Douban 8.5, but in all honesty, they both sound boring as it comes.

Haters saying that there was not chemistry with Esther Yu. For me was adequate to their roles. The 2CP was made of Cheng Lei and Lu Yu Xiao at that time they were not top leads yet but got really interesting roles, such strong performances. No even one kiss they gave to each other but the longing between them was piercing, so they became the most liked CP. The series was great for lifting the profile of young actors like Tian Jia Rui. There were also problems problems with those that read the original novel and thought it deviated too much from the written storyline.

Do you really want to watch them. You could feel dissapointed even before starting. This is not a drama for battle scenes.

No, it won't. On the contrary, the pace slow down later on I would say. I like the series but at the base is an event that happen 17 years ago that intertwined most of the characters and fuel the reason for sacrifice and revenge.

Yes....and also i did not think that his chemistry with Esther Yu was wrong as a lot of people said. I found it alright. Esther was doing a different role to their usual ones so it was not going to look all fluffy.
